Peace ends eventually

I felt the wind blow around me as I gazed deeply into a dark forest bush. The Leafs shuffled as I tensed and got low. I slowly walked closer putting my left leg first at every step, I raised my head and flared my nose as I took in the smells around me.

I recognized a scent suddenly as I shook my head and growled. I watched the bush carefully as a white wolf jumped out of it and howled. I fell backward's as the wolf ran over me and I rolled onto my belly. I looked up as my eyes glowed yellow and the wolf ahead of me started to run faster. I smiled then got up while looking ahead of me with happiness.

I howled and ran as I saw my self from above. I could see all of the trees start to fade and the grass getting higher. The white wolf ran out of the woods and into a field as I ran out of the woods along with it. I bounced high into the sky as I tackled the wolf and brought it down to the floor. We rolled a couple of feet as the wolf fell to its side and I rolled onto my back.

I laughed out loud as the white wolf laughed and sat up as a human. "My new high score," Alii said as he smiled and got up onto his feet. "Not bad Alii," I said as I got up with him. We smiled and looked into each other's eyes as mine shinned yellow suddenly. My nose flared and my eyes locked on into the distant trees. Alii turned around and looked at the trees as he saw a shadow move back. "Yuma" Alii whispered in a serious tone as I looked tense at him.

"Hurry" I shouted as a super ran through the woods. "We won't make it" Alii shouted as he super ran behind me, trying to keep up. "Yuma isn't the fastest in the pack," I said as I jumped high into a tree. "Neither are you," Alii said as he jumped and missed the tree, he landed onto his hands and feet as he jumped up again and landed onto the tree. "Look the pack is just in the distance," I said as I pointed south and jumped back down. Alii took a deep breath as he jumped down and started to run.

I ran into the middle of the camp as I came to a hard stop and caught my breath. Alii came up behind me as he dropped to his knees. Yuma came out of the darkness as Nikan came out of a shelter in anger. "Alii go to your mother," Nikan said as I turned and watched Alii walk over to a distant shelter and climbed into it.

"I am getting sick and tired of telling you the same thing," Nikan said in anger as Yuma stood and watched in praise. "Then don't bother," I said as I rolled my eyes and started to walk. Nikan stopped me by putting his body weight in front of me and growled. "Stop going outside of the woods" Nikan demanded in anger as I stepped back. "You have never given me any reason not to. What is so bad about what is beyond the woods?" I questioned in hatred. "Nothing," Nikan said as he looked away. "Then why don't we go out of the woods. There is so much space out there. It would be better for our growing pack" I state as I look around me at the small shakes, made from sticks and cloth. "Why do Koko and Mika get to leave the pack each week to adventure beyond the woods?" I ask in confusion.

"It's their job" Nikan explains as he starts to walk away. "Why can't it be mine?" I say as Nikan stops in his tracks. "We are not having this discussion again," Nikan said as he pulled a layer of cloth to the side of him and threw it back as he walked into a shelter. Yuma stared in envy as I pushed past him and went into the same shelter as Nikan.

A brown wolf was cuddled up to another brown wolf as 3 children laid around them. I transformed into a black wolf as I laid down and fell asleep.

All was silent as I laid asleep and the light started to creep in onto my fur. "Wake up!" A little girl screamed as she jumped on to me and started me. I sat up and transformed in a panic as she sat on my lap jumping up and down. "Enesta, you scared the crap out of me," I said as I pushed her off gently and got up. "Hey, no swearing" Enesta said as she got up in a hurry.

I pulled the cloth to the side as I walked out to see the pack awake and busy. "It's about time you woke up," Toma said as she shoved a pile of sticks into my arms. I dropped them reluctantly as I looked at her with my arms crossed. "I'm not on stick duty today," I said as I pushed her and started to walk. "We really need more sticks though," Toma said as she followed.
