Reunited

The part where we talk

My phone dinged. I just ignored it and went back to my guitar. I strummed the g cord a couple of times and started singing along.
I played a couple more songs then stopped and put my guitar away. I flipped my phone over and saw a couple of notifications and scrolled down to see more.
"Gold dinner time", my mom screamed.
"Coming mom", I shouted back setting my phone down.
After I finished dinner I ran back to my room finally getting to check my phone. I continued to scroll down from where I left off and saw a notification from Instagram. I slid the lock screen and opened my phone to Instagram. I went to my dms and saw a message from cole. My heart started to beat really fast. I clicked on it. It said who are you. I texted back Gold hbu. Even though I knew who he was. He was my best friend from elementary school. I texted him awhile ago when he moved but he never answered me back. I was so surprised that he finally answered. He responded a few minutes later saying I'm Cole. I responded saying I think we knew each other from elementary school. My heart was about to explode. He replied saying wait are you Gold like Gold from star hill elementary. Yeah I said. Wow he said. We caught up a little bit. Then I asked him what he liked to do and he said that he liked to skateboard. Really I said I have always wanted learn to skateboard someday. He said maybe I could teach you lol. My heart started racing again. Ya maybe if we ever see each other again. I texted back. I took a few deep breaths. "Breathe in breathe out breathe in breathe out", I kept telling myself. We might be able to if we go to the football games at each others school. Your right I said. My little heart was thumping so hard I thought it would thump right out of my chest. So we made a deal that if our school played against the other persons school we would go. I can't wait I responded. Same he said.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh", I scream out loud maybe a little to loud.
"Sweety are you ok" my mom shouted.
"Yeah mom sorry just...uuuuhhhhhh...ummmmm...practicing some vocals", I said awkwardly. I glanced back at my phone screen he hadn't answered again so I just text bye before I didn't anything else stupid.
