"Cmon honey!", said Mom.
Today is my first day of summer camp. It's gonna suck, I just know it.
"Let's go, honey! You don't wanna be late for your first day of summer camp, do you?"
"Actually, to be honest with you, I do."
"No, you don't. Hurry up and get in the car."
I really didn't want to, but I had to. My suitcase was stuffed, but I was at least happy my mom let me bring my laptop with me to summer camp.
Oh, sorry. I didn't introduce myself, did I? My name is Eva Wilson. Eva Jane Wilson. I'm a introverted 15 year old, looking for a adventure. But that's just part of me. Anyway, back to the summer camp thing.
"Mooooom!" I shouted out to my mom.
"What, sweetie?"
"I think I might have to stay home."
I had a plan. A big plan. A plan big enough I'd be able to stay home from summer camp for the WHOLE summer.
So my plan was..
- Pretend my stomach hurt really bad
- Mom would then have me stay home
- Repeat for whole summer
My plan would be a success.
"What do you mean, sweetie?"
"My stomach really hurts."
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah.."
I was starting to get nervous because I thought mom was onto me.
"Are you faking so you can stay home from summer camp?"
