Chapter 2 Moving out

Once I started the car and got on the main road I looked over at Sky. "I seriously can't believe that my best friend is my little sister!" she looked over at me and smiled "me either!" she said laying her head against the window.

"Remember how I told you about this app named vine?" I stopped at a red stop light. Sky looked over at me "yeah why? you said that there was this thing called Magcon." I nodded "since this is like the best day of my life that your my sister I think its time you met my second family."

Skylar gave me a questioning look "and that means what exactly? " I pulled into her driveway.

"I want you to come with me to the next event. The next one is in DC". She smiled, "you would do that for me?"

"Uh duh your my family now and I want you to meet the boys!" she giggles a bit and nodded her head yes "alright when do we leave?" she started to get out of the car, "well tomorrow's Thursday so we would leave on Friday" I said as we walked up to her doorstep.

Oh my god! Cam just asked me to go to magcon with him! Now im really excited to meet all the boys.

I pull out my house keys hanging on my neon green lanyard and unlock the door. "Hello?" I yell as we walked into my house. "anyone home!?" I sighed as I walked into the kitchen and found a note.

"Sky,

Your father and I went on a buisness trip again. Sorry we couldn't be home. Love you! XOX mom and dad."

I groaned "well I was hoping to talk to them but I guess not..." I trailed off and handed the note to Cameron. "well that gives us plenty of time to pack! just call em' and tell them whats going on." he said

I started to walk up the stairs to my room and I grabbed my two big suit cases and started shoving my clothes into them. Cam came up shortly after, and looked af the pictures on my walls. "you gonna help me or what?" I grabbed my pink duffle bag and started to put my shoes I to it. He walked over to me and helped me grab my possessions and put them into the fourth bag.

We got everything packed and I started to take my bags downstairs. Cam came down with the last bag. I stopped and dropped the duffle on the hardwood floor and took one last look at my house.

Tears started to well up in my eyes and threatened to fall. He looked over at me and took me into his arms while I buried my face in his chest and started to sob.

"Shh its okay everything is gonna be fine." he cooed. I sobbed into his shirt for a good five minutes and finally pulled away and wiped my tears with the sleeve of my shirt. I just nodded not saying a word and walked to the car with my bags.

After we loaded everything up we got in and started to drive to my new home with my real family. I was actually really excited.

We were both silent until he spoke up. "So I just want to let you off with a warning. My friends will hit on you and try to flirt with you." I looked over at him, "Cam ive had a boyfriend before I know how things go" I chuckled, "I know, I know im just sayin' if one of them hurts you in any shape or form I will beat their ass if I have to." I laughed even harder, "yes big brother" I said in an angelic voice. We pulled up to the house.

I stepped out and took a deep breath.

Well time to start a new life.
