After falling to make beings in their likeness (humans), the ancients first created HellHounds after experimenting with different designs. With hundreds of years of contemplation, the lead ancient, Ish'Mere, thought of the idea of a strong, noble, and beautiful creature. He and the others sculpted many different concepts, before making what was soon to be the HellHounds.
The Ancients were pleased with their creation, but Amon was not; he complained of this new species day and night... It was "missing something". He wanted it to be ferocious, but only his brother, Kali, agreed with him, and so they all made an agreement. They will be given a strong build and look, but, will be cultured, and civil. This is also where the HellHounds get their name, as Amon thought the sound of it went along with their design.
