As the day went on, Beatrice couldnt stop thinking about the kiss. If James did get to win this bet what would she be left with. Frowning she closed her eyes and leaned into Remus' shoulder.

"Are you okay?" he whispered softly into her ear. Beatrice shook her head and sighed. Remus looked towards his best friends and wondered why they even let James put her in this position. Though Remus had always been the most quiet, he has also been the one most caring and kinds towards Beatrice. They almost never got to a full conversation since they had always been interrupted by the other three. He knew that she liked James, it was obvious to everyone except James. Remus sighed feeling bad for his brunette friends and leaned into her head which was now resting and snoring quietly.

"You'll be okay, I promise Tris."

The train came to a slow stop and neither of the teens even stirred. The other trio looked at the sleeping figures and shook them roughly.

"GET UP! WE'RE HERE!"

"BACK OFF MOONY SHES MINE!"

"WE'RE GONNA MISS THE CARRIGES!"

Both woke up in a jump out of their seats and glared at the laughing boys in front of them.

"Did you HAVE to wake us up like that? Couldn't you have just shaken us lightly?" Beatrice narrowed her eyes.

"You might not even wanna give them ideas for next time." Remus growled at them. He almost never was able to sleep because he always had nightmares. Today was one of the only days he was able to sleep and not have to wake up sweating and screaming for help.

"Look I know youre not in the best mood right now Tris, but can you please tone it down, Lily isnt gonna find it as believable that we are dating."
James said almost pleading to the witch. Beatrice narrowed her eyes.

"Okay fine. Just don't ever do that again. As much as I love you guys, I will not hesitate to send a Bat Bogey Hex your way." Their eyes widened in fear as they looked at the smirking witch in front of them. Remus laughed at how easily they were scared of her threats, but in all fairness, its not like they were empty ones either.

"We should really start going to the carriges now or we're gonna miss them." Remus said starting to walk out his compartment to get his trunk. The other Four followed talking about what happened the last time someone tried to prank Beatrice by making her hair purple and that by the end of the day they were in the hospital wing trying to get their nostrils to shrink.

"Umm Tris, I think we should hold hands in the carriges because there might be other students near us." James looked almost uncomfortable saying it. He didnt freak out over kissing her because well, he didnt have to explain what they had to keep doing. Beatrice was his sister almost, sure he might've had a small crush on her in their 3rd year but those feelings went away when he started to notice Lily.

"I guess but only if there are people actually in there with us." Beatrice's sick feeling from her stomach returned from earlier. She knew something was bound to go wrong in this whole plan for James and yet she will be the one with the broken heart. Her face fell and she stopped walking to get her things only for a moment as she realized that James would get Lily in the end, why wouldn't he. Lily would have the thing she's always wanted. Almost as if reading her mind. Remus stopped next to her and looked at her confused.

"Is it because of the bet or did something happen this summer?" Remus asked looking at her frowned expression. Beatrice nodded at the first part of his question and Remus sighed.
"Why did you agree to it then? It's just hurting you?"

"I dont know, I just wanted to help James out-" She paused and looking at the 3 boys almost struggling with carrying their trunks."You know what, I think I'll be fine Remus." She smiled lightly and he nodded in understanding. Both teens grabbed their trunks and didnt struggle as much  as the orher three. They weren't the ones who stuffed their trunk with almost ever single product from Zonko's to 'try out' this year on the Slytherins.

Beatrice got onto the carriges to find that Lily and her friend Marlene were already sitting. James climed in after Beatrice and sat next to her. He intertwined his hand with hers beaming at the fact that Lily would steal glances at their hands. Beatrice sat in silence the entire ride to Hogwarts. Her and Remus were the quietest ones there. She was one of the quietest there so it seemed normal that she didn't always add to their conversations.

" We're here, Bea" James said turned towards the smaller girl who stared at the castle before her. She felt like she needed to correct him but she needed to just let him do his thing for the dare.

Both were the last to walk out of the carrige and still had their hands intertwined. They stayed like this for the entire rest of the evening . The feast was probabaly the most weird and uncomfortble. James thought it would be a good idea to feed eachother and so Beatrice agreed but kept spilling the food all over James. She laughed almost the entire time which didnt help  her at all since she almost choked on her pumpkin juice. The group of friends walked out of the Great Hall and went to their seperate dormatories with James and Beatrice having to share a small kiss goodbye before bed. Sleep overcame Beatrice quickly and she hoped that tommorow maybe she would be able to control her emotions better when it came to the bet. Remus however lay awake that night thinking about the quiet brown haired girl who let herself to be put in James' mess.
