"YOU!" Agatha screamed at a lady's direction. She knows her and they never got along well. Eyes glinting in the smokiness she stared at the lady shooting her a look of hatred. She was about to reach her last breathe in no time. Blood was dripping from every piece of her limb. But her hands clenched to a small knife.
"You ruined everything in my life, you took away the power I could've earned!" Agatha said out of breath ''I could've made myself the powerful person I wanted to be, all my life, no one sees me, no one appreciates me. NOT EVEN MY OWN MOTHER! Now you ruined the chance for me to prove to you all what I really am! CURSE YOU AIMEE CASSELS!''
''Agatha, grow up! Wake up from your stupid dreams! You're drunk with power, you're selfish! Your new-born daughter, family waits for you every other night! But you, do you have the heart to care for them? You only knew yourself! You chose the wrong way to rise! Agatha, anyone with a proper heart, anyone in their right state of mind wouldn't choose their colleagues, especially bad one like yours, over family!'' Aimee said straining her neck hard ''My best friend, sister in law, someone I knew so well. with the blink of an eye, turned into someone I never would befriend!''
Agatha screamed in pain, the sky lighting up slowly. For Agatha, everything is slowly darkening, still she doesn't try to understand it.
''Oh Aimee and her wisdom! But never will it be more powerful than true power!'' her voice cracked ''I work for the dark side Aimee, but I'm loyal like you never thought I would be!''
Aimee approached Agatha fearlessly, eyes locked, shooting each other looks of disdain. Aimee no longer felt pity for her, for someone this coldhearted. She lifts Agatha's chin up, lying on the ground and weak, she raised her hand promptly to stab Aimee but Aimee got hold of her hand. She kept a firm grip on her wrist ''Agatha, we're friends long enough for me to know that you were loyal only to fool people into letting you into power. I know you know that the good side won't let a selfish leader in on his power. The good has its way of winning and it will always work!''
Aimee got on her heels and walked away without looking back, even if the girl lying on the ground behind that is about to die is and old friend of hers. Old friend wouldn't be the right words in this sense.
''Aimee! Aimee! You come back right here this instant!'' Agatha is lightheaded, she is losing sight of what is around her, every piece of her limb hurts, she no longer has the strength to get up. All she felt was pain, inside out. It was getting hard to breathe. Tears filled her eyes, that's when she realized it was too late. Flashing back in the back of her mind while she could, all she saw was her daughter, Nancy. How she must feel ashamed all on her own to have a mother like her. Agatha hopes from the bottom of her heart that Nancy won't grow up to be like her. Then she promptly closes her eyes the last things she saw was ashes, dust flame and shame.
Aimee prodded away carelessly. The girl lying behind her was no longer the person that she used to know, no longer someone she would feel merciful for.
