Road to Happiness

The Start

Hi, My name is Jacklyn Rogers. Everyone calls me Jackie, although when I am in trouble its Jacklyn Alice. I live with my brother, Michael and my mother, Deena. We live in a small town called Crawford, right in the middle of Ohio. Your probably wondering where my dad is, well he passed away 2 years ago while on duty. I wont go into specifics ,but we all really miss him. I started high school last year and I going into sophomore year, but let me tell you how it all began. 

It was the summer going into my freshman year and I couldn't be more nervous. I had been staying at a family friends beach house when I had a dream about this guy I got to be friends with during English class, Jack Monte. I always thought he was an ass ,but all the sudden there was just something about him that made me laugh and smile. When I woke up that morning I texted the guy I could trust with anything, Bryce Smith. He got to be a really close friend and we love talking. I asked Bryce if he knew Jacks snap chat, at the time I didn't have a Instagram. As soon as Bryce texted me back I explain the whole dream, but unfortunately he didn't know Jacks snap chat. Bryce being such the great friend that he is found it for me. It was a Wednesday and I added Jack on snap chat. I waited patiently for three days until Friday night. Jack had texted me on Snap chat. He kept saying super cute things to me which made me feel really special. However he was saying some inappropriate things. Little did I know he was drunk.  He said he was drunk because one of his friends spiked the chocolate cookies, but my dad being a cop, I knew you cant get drunk of cookies. This conversation was late at night and I got tired so I went to bed very happy. 

The next morning I had let last night slide, However I woke up to a snap chat from Jack apologizing for everything that happen the night before.
