"Goddammit Alex! Get it together!" says my father, Stiles. Looking down I try to focus more on the task at hand. At the moment, my dad is training me to fight more skillfully but I just can't as I am thinking about the annual ceremony going on tonight. The annual ceremony is where all the strongest packs join together where you can find your mate, dine, etc. You see I am 23 years of age and I have not found my mate yet. The average age to meet your other half is 18. You can see why I'm not so concentrated. My dad is announcing my reign to the alpha position tonight and he wants to make sure I'm prepared if anything happens because some wolves might not appreciate a female alpha. I shake my head. Get it together Lex. I look up, my silver eyes staring at my dads really light blue ones, and charge at my father. Clashing into him, I attempt to bite his leg but he sees my plan and dodges. Dad jumps ontop of my back trying to pin me but I shake him off, jump on him, and pretend to bite down on his neck. I'm almost as powerful as him. He thinks to me, "Great job, Alex. You have definitely improved. You may head back." I thank him of course. *Before entering the house* "Hey Alex!" Turning around I see Blaine running up to me. Ah, Austin is my 18 year old brother. "Wassup lil bro?" I ask as I'm walking into the house, Austin following in suit. "Nothing much just wanted to spend some time with you." He says as he shrugs his shoulders. "How are you feeling today, dear sister? Y'know maybe you'll find your mate today." "I'm okay, I have a feeling today, but most importantly what about you? Today is the day you find your mate!"
