As a drop of water fell firmly onto Hermione's head, She sat up on the rigid bunk bed wondering where she was located until she remembered the night before when her and Ron had a dramatic break up "Mione! Wake up we have a big day coming up... we're going back to school for the N.E.W.T.S!" She said prancing around the house excitedly. "I'm so ready" Hermione said yawning as if she had not gone to sleep for a solid week. She walked down the stairs carried by her weak tired legs drooping down the steps "you look beat Hermione! What happened?" Harry questioned with a shocked face, but Hermione just shrugged and continued to the dining room to have a couple of pieces of French toast. Ginny ran down the stairs racing to Hermione "Mione are you seriously going in a dressing gown to Hogwarts? I'm getting you ready to go!" She exclaimed dragging her up the stairs "you know what, I have a solution. If I splash water on your face you should wake up" Ginny explains whilst she soaks her hand in water and splashes her with the pure liquid. Hermione starts to cough and then Ginny dresses her whilst she wakes up. "Thanks Ginny!" Hermione told her "no problem anything for a friend" she said with a smile. The truth is, she was not only happy to go back for the tests, but she also was hyped to be head girl. But there was a problem, Draco was head boy and just the thought of him Hermione could lie and say she hated but in reality his diamond like eyes and perfect smooth skin with gentle blond hair attracted her. Although she had so many feelings for Draco, she didn't want to tell anyone else... especially pansy. If you multiplied Hermione's hate for Voldemort by 10... well you have an awnser. "Come on Mione!" Ginny called from the car "um... coming!" She proclaimed and ran to the car
Time slip to platform 9 3/4
As they where walking to Hogwarts express, profesor McGonnagal called for her "greetings Hermione, you haven't seen Draco anywhere have you?" She asked "no professor not in sight but I could have a loom for him, I mean you never really know with Draco... he could be anywhere" Hermione said slowly drifting off until McGonnagal snapped her out of it by saying " great bring him to me for the meeting, we have to discuss what we are going to do over the year. I will see you at the meeting Granger and farewell" she claimed and disappeared into a pile of dust. Hermione was confused so she decided just to head over to the Slitherin carriage. She saw Draco on his own until pansy stormed in and sat on his lap " what are you doing here mudblood! Hermione wiped a tear blocking it's path across her face
"There is a meeting and Draco is expected there" Hermione claimed and speed off in embarrassment.
After the meeting
Hermione and Draco headed into their carriages and Draco whispered to her "ignore pansy Hermione, I know your a muggle born but that doesn't change you, you are just like us" and walked off into his carriage. Hermione blushed and walked off thinking wow Draco is a really nice guy. As Hermione mounted the carriage, the train set off and skidded across it's tracks down to Hogwarts.
In the new dorm
"Welcome Draco and Hermione to your new dorm"McGonnagal announced enthusiastically. They both took a look around and bumped into each other at the top of the stairs "sorry Draco" Hermione said in a nervous voice "don't worry yourself" Draco said patting her on the back end walking off towards his room. Hermione chuckled behind his back.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing"
"What is it? Spit it out"
"Nothing!"
Draco put his hands on her waist
"Tell me or i will tickle you until you explain"
"Nothing"
Draco started to tickle Hermione on the waist and she fought back... they where rolling on the floor laughing with each other and then Hermione finally gave it up
"Okay okay, I thought it was funny because you've never smiled before"
"What? I smile all the time"
Hermione stared at him sarcastically
"Okay so maybe I haven't but what does it matter?" He said standing up off the ground
"I don't know?" Hermione said rising from the ground
"Well I'm going to hit the hay so goodnight to you Granger"
"Yeah goodnight" Hermione responded
They both walked into their rooms and funnily enough,they were both thinking about each other.
