It wasn't even cold. I wondered as I stood up from my upbeat matrass that Mama Eno had given to me as a fair well present before my relocation to Lagos. Why was I awake? I was still wondering why when suddenly, I heard the alarm from the only self bought gadget of mine of about five years...my phone.
Jumping from foot to foot trying to contain myself from pouring out the contents of my bowels on the worn out cement floor in my not so humble abode,I hurriedly picked my phone to snooze the alarm and walked 'jejely' to the corner of my room to offload the contents of my bowel into a bucket- my make shift toilet. Satisfied, I walked back to my bed n lowered myself unto it,using my patched up wrapper to cover myself.
Realizing that I woke up to ease myself, I drifted back to dreamland where Adewale,Bisola n I sat under the big mango tree outside our house listening to the song of silence told by night.
