Those Days

It was a day like any other but Erwin was excited , hopping up out of his bed and running down the stairs .
"Momma ?" He called , the smell of delicious foods being made flooded his senses .
Erwin's mother carried a soft face with beautiful blue eyes , eyes that had a certain kindness to them . "Yes , baby
?" She murmured softly to his son .

"You know today's the day right ?" Erwin's words shone with excitement , his eyes bright and curious as he practically bounced with happiness ." Today's the day , I join the survey corps!"

Erwin's mother was less then happy about the situation but still she supported her son , with his father being the genius he was .... it was not a question how intelligent Erwin was .
But his one flaw, curiosity . He was too curious he always wanted to know more .
Erwin's mother gently plated the food she was cooking , knowing her boy would need a good strong breakfast to start off training .
"I know honey, I'm so excited for you , my boy is gonna be a military man . Now you know the rules you must keep in contact . I don't want to come up there having to whoop somebody if they deny me talking to you ." Erwin's mother said running her hand threw his messy bed head .

Erwin grinned ," mother ... I'm so excited , this is the chance . I can answer all of fathers questions . Do you think he would be proud of me ?" Erwin said almost sadly .
Erwin's father had been missing for a while , no one really knew why he disappeared .

Erwin scarfed down the food with vigor , before he got dressed and got his bag. He was leaving for the camp . Which he had to walk but he didn't mind that . He'd be doing much worse things then just walking during his training .

When Erwin arrived at the camp he was already well talkative . He found this lone shy absolutely  stunning man ,they immediately clicked . Erwin noticed some things about him , he had a tendency to be well a little peculiar .
"I'm Erwin what's your name ?" He said with a grin shaking the males hand he heard a small " Mike." This man was his age ...15 . Recruiting age of course , he was already intimidating as is .Erwin knew that Mike was going to be an alpha , You can tell by how he held himself . It was scary , Erwin well he was one of those flip a coin and see type of people . He came across as both towards others .

Erwin and Mike at the end of the day discovered that they shared the same bunk bed which made Erwin well twice as happy . Erwin slept on the bottom because he preferred so . Mike didn't argue , he only agreed and Erwin made a small promise to himself that he would change that . Someone as big and gentle as Mike could not be a push over . Erwin smiled as they settled in after the first day . The lamps being put out and the soft snores of people could be heard .
Erwin whispered a soft goodnight to the man below him , smiling as he got a soft 'night' from the other .
Mike was very mysterious ,which peeked Erwin's curiosity a bit too much .
