If you think this is just another fantasy novel with dragons and beautiful women, think again.
"Long ago during the Metallic Age, Coba, God of creation and his subordinating gods/goddesses watched humanity's advancement. Vulpin, the God of destruction, sought to destroy everything his brother Coba cared about and claim what the humans called "Earth".
Coba encouraged the humans to explore other world's beyond their galaxies, cure all diseases, and to build to the heavens. To which the humans attempted and in some cases, they succeeded.
Seeing this made Vulpin power-hungry and maddened with envy.
When Coba and the other gods slept. Vulpin crushed humanity's skyscrapers, consumed their highways, and breathed machines blood on to the humans. Vulpin set fire to the humans technology and melted the metals into his blood. The screams of the humans empowered him as he obliterated their spirits entirely. The world was set afire in the flames of hate.
When Coba awoke, Vulpin had wiped out 90% of life on "Earth". Coba felt as if he drank a cocktail of emotions. Anger. Disappointment. Bloodlust. Grief.
Coba sought out to defeat Vulpin, not to lock him away, but to destroy the very existence of his being. Excited by the challenge, Vulpin egged on his brother.
"So Coba." Vulpin's metallic ear piercing voice erupted like a born again volcano. "Back at each other's throats again are we? And I thought you couldn't do better than those prehistoric lizard-birds. But look at these little meatsacks. Are you even trying anymore?"
Coba's body stiffened as Vulpin killed a human who tried to escape. Burning to death is one of the worst ways to go.
"Vulpin," Coba's voice boomed like a rocket taking off. "You have destroyed life yet again. I warned you last time I wouldn't lock you in your hellhole if you did it again."
"Hellhole huh? You say that as if it was a bad place, Blondie. The fires couldn't be hotter, the screams couldn't be louder, the insanity couldn't be greater. I was becoming stir-crazy being all alone down there. So I decided to say hello to your new alpha species."
Coba had had enough of Vulpin's taunts and summoned his armor. It was sleek and white as a super nova. Vines of light wrapped around his arms, legs, and ending on his cheeks. His blonde hair wrapped around a crown of the mystical vines. The bulbs on the vine crown bloomed into a rainbow of color and light. At last he summoned his weapon. A two pronged pitchfork which he wielded as if it was an old war comrade. Coba pointed it near Vulpin's neck, lightning sparked between the two prongs.
"Coba, if you want to dance.." Vulpin changed form into a molten fire Drake who was more of a walking volcano than a beast. His ribcage tore open, dripping molten lava, his tail formed a club crafted of diamonds. His wings spread from horizon to horizon. Vulpins skeleton was made of dried lava and chunks of diamond. His horns atop his head were sleek and sharp, much like a rams. His diamond claws glistened in the spears light. Vulpin started drooling burning oil in anticipation of a fight "Let's dance, pretty boy" .
Vulpins snout erupted with molten lava and flaming oil that he spat at Coba. To which Coba blocked and thrust his spear into Vulpin's throat. Vulpins neck exploded with a mixture of lava and lightning nearly cutting off his head.
Vulpin retaliated by launching himself onto Coba's throat, gnawing like a starved animal. Coba fell backwards and the earth shook with the impact.
The battle continued for two- hundred earth years, but seemed like an eternity. Everywhere the gods landed; a new landmark was made, resulting in four monuments, Aba, Peria, Fela, and Aterlia. With every impact the gods made on each other, the universe shook in anticipation of it's new ruler.
Vulpin was wearing thin, but Cobra was in slightly better condition. Cobra dragged Vulpin's body by the top jaw into the Atlantic. Vulpins body smoked and steamed with the water, but the water alone couldn't drench his burning desire to rule the universe.
Coba flung Vulpin's tiring body in front of him and used what little power he had left to strike him with the spear.
The spear pierced Vulpin's muzzle and traveled down his throat through his ribcage. Light drained from his molten eyes. Cobra continued to spear his brother until Vulpin's carcass was molded into a crater in the ocean.
Heaving, Coba realized the extent of his brothers destruction. Oil was polluting the salt water Coba created for all of the world fish. Skyscrapers were in ruins no higher than a hillside. And the corpses of 6.9 billion humans, his most prized creations lie in shambles.
Stricken with grief, he aided the planets natural healing functions, he quenched the burning fires, cleaned majority of the oil from the waters, and guided the remaining humans to safety.
At one point, humans could fly to the Moon and back, but now they were stuck with sticks and stones.
Out of pity, Coba granted the humans livestock, crops, and the invention of the wheel.
Thousands of years later, humans are regaining their grip on Coba's new world.
And they named it Kanos.
Humanity now regards their destruction and rebirth as legend, and to some a myth.
But the ruins of the Metallic Age still stand. To some, it's an omen of advancement, to others it's a lost world."
