It was late at midnight, Everything was silent, calm with a full moon shining in a room in a orphanage with 20 beds with 20 sleeping kids, but there was only one child that was awake, he was just sitting up on his bed seeing if everyone was asleep, it looked like he was planning something that he doesn't want the other orphans to know about.

The boy was around 12 years old, he had a light bisque colored skin with light blue eyes, he had short black curly hair with some of it covering his smooth face, a blue shirt on with black cargo shorts on.

The boy than rose up from his bed silently putting on red shoes quickly and silently so he wouldn't wake anyone up.

After that he started to walk fast but being aware of not  trying to make any noise to get anyone's attention in the room so he doesn't wake anyone up to ruin his plan of what he wants, "Let's hope it works this time." He says to himself as he than reaches for the door that is in the room that leads to the main hallway. He opens it and gets out quickly than closing the door behind him quietly.

He looks at the hallway and analyzes the hall, there was a window in the middle of the hallway but it has a lock so none of the kids could open it for safety reasons. There is a door in the entrance that he can go to and escape but a night guard is supervising the area.

The boy thinks for a few seconds then realizes that he can try to pick the lock using a paperclip that he has in his pocket. Without hesitation he quickly fast walked to the window but he than tripped by accident making a loud thump.

A light then started to fade in the left side of the hallway, the boy than panicked and stood up, becoming still as he tried to come up with something. He than looks at a janitor's closet that's at the end of the hallway.

Quickly running to it, the boy opens the door and shut it as quietly as he could.

The guard than arrived to the hallway seeing that there is no one there. He then scans the area one more time before shrugging his shoulders before leaving back to the main entrance.

A minute passed and the boy slowly opened the door, peeking outside to see if the guard left. He then got out quickly and walked over to the window and then starts to pick at the lock. After a few attempts he finally unlocked the window.

He pushed the now unlocked window open, a small creaking noise echoing through the hallway. The blackette stepped outside the window, slamming it shut, not caring about being silent any longer. He than checked his surroundings before making a break for freedom.

Glancing around, the boy sees a guard coming outside and start to chase him down, yelling as he did so.

"Hey! Come back here!" Shouted the guard, the runaway child looked around desperately. He noticed a thick treeline nearby on the left side of the road, knowing it lead to a forest.

The boy than ran to the other side darting into the woods to escape the guard. The guard stopped his running pace, glancing around the treeline before walking back to the orphanage, leaving the runaway alone now since the child entered somewhere he wouldn't go in too.

Now deep inside the woods, the blackette stopped running to catch his breath, "Now where am I going to stay? I should've thought this through." He breathed out, still taking in gulps of air.

In the distance, the boy started to hear screams, laughter, and gunshots from far away near his surroundings. He looked around in fear, trying to find out where the noise is coming from. Footsteps were heard rustling in the grass, the noise getting more and more louder and closer. The child looked around to find who's coming close to him.

The boy's heart started beating profusely as the feeling of fear washed over his body making him paranoid. He tried moving but he couldn't even twitch. He was like stone statue, like the ones outside the orphanage.

The rustling footstep started to draw closer, as he finally saw someone walking to him. He couldn't see who it was since the unknown person was blending in with the night.

The boy was shaking as he closed his eyes hoping that his death would be quick and painless, the unknown person then stopped right in front of him, sound of crunching leaves no longer heard.

The boy had his eyes closed tightly not wanting to see his own death, when all of a sudden he heard a voice speak. "Now whats a boy like you doing out here in the middle of a cold night?" After it finished speaking, the boy opened his eyes to see the stranger with a hoodie on covering its face hiding its identity. "Who are you?"
