Intro

Once upon a time there was a baby born named Gobingo. She was so ugly and looked like a mushroom. Her parents tried to abandon her by leaving her on the sidewalk, but they got a fine for littering! When she was five her parents left her in the dumbster.

Gobingos POV

Todays my birthday, I am going to be seven years old. I'm alone again. Well not completly I have the worms with me they are great company.

"Hey worms. Today I am seven, we are gonna have a great day"

They just wiggled around.

I picked myself up and went to the public bathrooms to clean myself. I have saved up 50p all year to buy myself sainsbury's basic chocolate which costs 31p so I have 29p to spare. I am so happy I can afford such expensive food that people struggle to buy. I really am the luckiest girl in the world! Although I don't have any family I have so many friends which are of course the worms. I also have my teddybear called Mildrid which I found in the skip it inly had a few flies on it and is missing an eye but it is perfect.

I've brought my chocolate now and I am sitting in the dumpster. As I break my chocolate up for the worms and Mildrid to have some, I sing a song to myself. The only thing I remember about my mum, is this song she used to sing. She sang it when my dad was at the bar drink like there was no tomorrow. The only reason he done this was because of me; I was so ugly! So my mum abandoned me.

*FLASHBACK*

Connie's POV

"Sam please don't leave tonight she has been crying non stop" I asked nearly in tears

"Connie, I can't be with that ugly child" He yelled

"I'll get rid of her, just please come back"

"Fine" Sam huffed

*END OF FLASHBACK*

That night my mum took me to the dumpster. She has never come back since she told me to wait here while she got her coffee. It was a cold winters evening and I was shivering but I can't believe my parents would do such a thing. I still wonder even now if my parents are ever going to come back but I no that is never going to happen.

Whenever I get bored I always have a walk down the high road to see if anyone has dropped any money but the most I have ever found was 2p. I always get filthy looks of people but I don't understand why.

BANG

I jump and hide.

Is it looking for me? I shuffle down deeper.

"Ahh found you" It exclaims.

"I know you are in there" says this voice.

I peek my head out slightly and I see this boy with blonde hair just above his shoulders, with the deepest blue eyes.

"Whats your name? He asks looking straight at me

"Uhm. Gobingo."

"That is a weird name. I'm James".

"Oh hi James"

James attempts to help me out from all the rubbish I am umder but instead James falls ontop of me; we just laugh.

"I have never had a friend before, have you?" I mumble feeling my cheaks flush

"Not many but would you like to be my friend"

"Oh yes please!"

He laughs slightly. Then spots my picnic and I try to hide it, but he sees it.

"Can I join in your picnic"

"Yeah" I say and break him a piece of chocolate.

"Whats this picnic for" He asks stuffing the chocolate in his mouth

"My birthday "

"Oh" He gets my wrist"This is an invisible frienship bracelet. I have one too" he shows me his wrist

" I will never take it off"

"Me too"

We both manage to wriggle our way out from under the rubbish and there is a little jump first. James goes first he lands safely on both feet. Now it is my turn.

Chapter 1

"I'm scared I dont want to jump!" I exclaim

"Oh dont be a wimp" James shouts

Suddenly a bird comes flying past me so fast and knocks my balance, I then fall down on the floor and land right on top of James.

"This is a little awkward" James says

"Just a bit" I reply as I start blushing

I gently push myself up and manage to get up onto my feet, I help James up after. We both walk down the road holding hands it is as if we have known eachother for ages!
