SUMMARY:
Mairé Blitz is a young girl caught up in the unfortunate and cataclysmic time of 2074: a time of war, world revolution, food deficiencies and disastrous calamities all serving the aftermaths of ecocide and oblivion. Against all this, it’s just her and her little family living in the little city of Hannover, Germany. But Mairé seems to be tragedy’s favourite victim as in an instant, her comfortable life is ripped away from her and she finds herself facing no home and the life of an orphan at such dystopic times . . . with nothing left but her guts and her little brother. Then one day the first rays of hope arrive at her doorstep in the form of a man.
