Everyone involved in the accident is keeping it a secret. It's highly classified. We are told to be ashamed of it. The few witnesses were put to death.
The government has the documents to this day. What if somebody found them... ah! Stop it, Violet!
We were threatened. A lot. We were told to put this behind us.
it haunts me.
We were lucky to escape alive.
If thoughts could hurt, I'd be 6 feet down already.
I was abruptly awoken in the middle of the night. My upper body jumped to a sitting position. It was nothing.
Since I was up (and frightened), I decided to take advantage of the fact that I couldn't sleep to go to the bathroom.
The door latches behind me and I twitch a little. I've been really jumpy since the accident.
The toilet flushes. I walk into the mirror and see a completely different girl. I looked so tired and sad.
I start washing my hands. As I grab for the towel I see the mirror in the corner of my eye.
"AHH!" I yelp. I fall to the floor and I'm shaking. I slowly stand and splash my face with water. It was gone.
"I know I saw him," I whisper to myself. "Collins."
Collins and the other workers from the plant were still out there. I was hallucinating. The government obviously tracks our phones. No calls or texts about anything related. I'm not supposed to be in contact with Grover... Zoe... not any of them.
You want what you don't have...
I have to talk to them.
