Beep, beep, beep, beep. She rolls over and slowly opens her eyes to look at her clock. She slams her hand down onto the top of it, but completely misses it. The beeping continues to go nonstop.

She sits up agrivated, glares at the clock that reads 5:50. She presses her finger on the top bottom to shut it up.

Her mom and dad had already gone to work, so it is just her and her older brother, Sean.

I hate school, she thinks. I hate school, I hate the teachers, and all the students that attend. She stands and yawns as she stretches her arms.

She blinks a few times, then steps over all the books and clothes on the floor, as she heads for the bathroom. She opens her squeeky bedroom door and slips out into the hallway. Quietly walks past Sean's room and turns into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. She looks into the mirror and almost scares herself. As she looks, sky blue eyes look back at her. With her brunette hair and skull PJs.

She goes pee, then heads back to her room. As she starts to pass Sean's' room, she figures he would be really mad if she didn't wake him up before they had to leave for school.

She had remembered when she was in sixth grade and he was in eighth, she had waited till five minutes before they had to leave before getting him up. She thought it was pretty funny watching him, run around looking for things she had hidden the previous day.

But that was before he got a girlfriend, now he's all strict and mean.

She knocks on his door, he doesn't answer. She opens the door and walks inside, not having to step over anything because his room is nice and tidy. He is in the corner of the room wrapped up like a burrito in his blanket.

She steps up beside him and pokes his face. He turns his head, she glares at him and starts shaking him. He rolls away from her to the edge of the other side of the bed. She sighs, then pushes him off the side of the bed.

He rolls off and squerms around on the floor, before sitting up and glaring at her.

"Parish."

"Hey I'm just helping you, cause you know that without me you would never get up."

He sighs, "thanks." He mumbles.

"What? What was that?" She asks pretending not to have heard what he said.

"I said thanks." He repeats, but louder.

"No problemo." She says.

As he tries to unwrap himself she leaves his room and goes back to hers to get dressed. Once she reaches her room again she goes to her dresser and takes out clean clothes.

She takes off the clothes she slept in and gets dressed. Once she is in a blue and white flannel button down and tattered jeans she goes into the kitchen, looking at the clock on the microwave it says 6:23.

She decides she doesn't have time for breakfast so she instead, grabs a book off of a shelf and sits on the couch. As she was halfway threw the second page her brother, sits down on the other side of the couch. They sit there, Sean watching the time go by and her reading her book.

Sean stands, she looks up and sees that the time is 6:28. Time to go. She thinks. As they leave she grabs her hoodie from its hook, and her backpack from the floor. They leave the building, Sean first and Parish following him.

The leaves have already fallen from the trees, they walk down the road threw all the yellow, red, and green leaves that cover the sidewalks and across the street to a sign that says, school bus stop. They stand and wait for the yellow old school bus to round the corner and stop in front of them.

The doors swing open, revealing a man with graying hair wearing a hoodie and torn old jeans. Sean gets on followed by Parish. She goes to her everyday seat in the back. Their stop is the buses last, so the driver, Mr. Al turns around and starts driving back to school.

And her days begins.
