"Dad! Come help me with these boxes!" "Ok sweetie", says Andy as he gets back from putting the last of his stuff in the apartment. He takes the two heavy boxes from his daughter. "Thanks". His daughter smiles. He smiles back. "Go look inside" "ok", she runs inside to go explore.
Its been long two weeks...the divorce, finding some where to live, moving, and having to take care of his only daughter Maddie. But he was happy to be with her and not alone. Andy picks up the boxes and takes them inside. "I love it dad! Its going to so much fun living here!" Said Maddie happily jumping up and down. She was always very positive about everything.
"I know sweetie. Please go put your stuff in your room." "Ok", she grabs her suitcase and takes it to her room.

Time skip

After a long day of unpacking they go out for ice cream for the hard work. After ice cream they go home.
Andy sends Maddie to bed. He sits in the living room and watches t.v. . He slowly falls asleep.
He wakes up to the sound of dogs barking and what sounds like someone screaming.
"What the hell?". He goes down stairs and walks outside toward the noise.
In a ally way a pack of dogs surround something trying to attack it. "Back off !!!" The voice screams followed by barking. Andy rushes toward them to try to save the person being mawled by dogs.  The dogs notice andy and run off. He notices what looks a person on the ground bleeding. "Are you o-" his heart nearly stops. "Y...you..." Chucky. Of all people it had to be him!!! Andy thought. Chucky coughs up some blood. "Andy?", he says weakly. "why are you here?! You better not be here to kill me or my kid or so help me I'll-", he was cut off the chucky coughing up more blood. Andy sighed. He couldn't just let him die out here. He picks chucky up and decides to take him home to patch him up. Chucky was to weak to protest.
Andy noticed chucky had fallen asleep. "Cute. What? No!" Andy erased the thought from his mind.
