X_X This old town is a great one many would say. Me and a few others wouldn't say the same. In this town everyone carries around these syringes to inject themselves with this sort of happy virus. It's not contagious, that's why I am not infected with such a weird disease. I took it once and still felt the horrors of reality. There are some immune to the happy state but those that are immune, see the reason why people use these sort of happy pills. The town is destroyed, torn to pieces. The only homes are only partly built and are ridden with other harmful diseases.
What sickens me to my stomach is the fact that the people who inject themselves are still happy when feeling pain. Everyone here in Sandston tries to hide the fact that the entire town was destroyed by a deadly virus. People found out that taking this sort of "happy" syringe can block out the disease entirely. But their is one side effect to the vaccination, it doesn't just make people "happy," it makes them crazy too. I had seen one of the deranged lunatics with red hair, and it wasn't just red dye. I found out that it actually was making art with the blood of it's murdered victims. Nobody seems to notice except for the non infected survivors. That man was laughing while cruelly stabbing the homeless man to death.
"It's just a cruel world out there Commander Howard." says my sergeant in command Mia. She's training in becoming a chief executive in our resistance. "If you want to keep training up to be a Chief officer, you're gonna have to make sure all of the walls are fortified, so none of the crazies break in." In our resistance, which is called the "Get Real Resistance" we try to take in crazies from the wasteland, and purify them with therapy. "Howard, you realize that the crazies have a wall surrounding us, they are bringing in more syringes with the Jollyorism disease in it. It'll make them see less of reality, which means they grow stronger in terms of insanity." Dang, I guess we'll have to send a troop to get more supplies beyond the barriers. "We'll have to send in a troop of 10 to get more supplies so we can wait out the crazies." I say.
"Howard, whoever goes out there will be killed immediately." replies Mia. "That's why were gonna take the sewer tunnels that run underground of the city, that way we can reach a military base for supplies." It's a risky plan, but we can do it, I know my team won't let the resistance down. "Sergeant Mia, we'll need General Silva and Officer Matthew, as well as 6 other members who are willing to fight for Sandston." We are the sparks and the town is the darkness; let's hope we don't burn out. "Commander Howard, we can't sacrifice the men we have for supplies or the base will fall to the crazies." "Then It'll just be a four man mission then." I reply. With only four members were gonna have to stick together. Silva will be our tech, Mia will be the sniper specialist, Matthew will pack the guns up, and I'll be the front line leader. We take the steps down into the sewer, the sickening smell smacking us in the face. "Uhh it smells in here." speaks Silva. "Well were gonna have to deal with it until we get to the surface."
