Chapter 1

Mel's Pov:

I fix my earbuds in my ears and blast my music so I can't hear anyone.  I don't like family reunion  they think it's so important, I mean yeah I miss my brother but that doesn't mean I have to like the hole family being here just because  of him. I tend to ignore everyone all the time, does it matter? It's normal I'm glad school is out so that's the bright  side of things. I'm in my room so I can be away from people,  and I'm dancing like crazy  because  I love the music  I'm listening  to Eden Project  is life though.  All this dancing  makes me thirsty I hurry downstairs and grab a cup of water,  well here goes my luck  grandma hugs me.  I wonder when Ashton  will be here I know my parents left already  to pick him up from the airport. You know I should've went with them I sit on the couch and rest my feet on the table and play with a strand of my hair. I stare at my cup of water sometimes  I wish it was alcohol. Then I hear my name being called I rolled my eyes trying to ignore her.  "Mel!  stop ignoring me and Come see your damn brother  already." when I heard brother I got up and ran towards the door towards him not even caring about who's next to him I jump into his arms.  "Bubu  I missed you." as you see me and my brother have a good relationship, and we usually  never split up. "I Know Mel, I missed you too cupcake, Now can you get off me?  I can't carry you and my bags!" I laugh a little and jump down. "sorry Bubu." I turn to go away but then I notice this guy with a hole bunch of tattoos  next to him and my eyes scan down his body and back to his face Woah is he hot. "Bubu? Who's he?" he turns his head to the guy I'm pointing too.  "cupcake that's Nick, You don't  need to look frightened I invited him." I rolled my eyes "pfftt..  I wasn't scared.. I was just asking.  Because  he's super hot." I smirk and run before Ashton  attacks me,  I heard them both laugh. "ILL GET YOU MEL..  YOUR LUCKY." I roll my eyes as if he can catch me Dumbass!  I stop in the kitchen and jump onto the counter top and sit on it.  I ignore the fact that my mom is telling me to get down. "Ma, I'm gonna be going out tonight." she looks at me and gives me a stern look "Oh No you won't be! Your brother is back." I knew she'd say no as always.  "well.. My boyfriend  wants to see me so, I'll see you later bye Ma." I jumped down and walked out the front door.  I heard her yell "MEL GET BACK HERE, WE TOLD YOU THAT YOU CANNOT SEE BRANDON AGAIN!"  I laugh  as if telling me i can't see him again as if I'll listen. I hop into his car "Hey babyyy." he looks at me but he doesn't say anything back until I give him an confused look.  "I cheated On you Mel." my eyes widen and I stare at him in disbelief "with who?!" he gulps he knows I'm gonna kill him! "Jennifer Bastion."  the girl who freaking thinks she can steal everything  from me?  Before I know my hand is slapping him in the face  and I get out the car slamming the door and I grab a rock and slam it into one of the windows and I fix my hair.  "Now You See what you get when you cheat Brandon." his eyes widen "you crazy bitch." I laugh a little "oh by the way you should check for Aids, Jen has an STD." his eyes widen  "your joking right?" I shake my head and I walk back into the house  and I slam the door so loud everyone looks at me. I dare let tears slip he cheated on me with a slut and I'm crying. "Mel what's wrong?" I look at who asked that it was Ashton "He...  Cheated..." I run upstairs to my room and close the door and I lay in my bed pulling the blankets over my head.
