Waking up to the sound of an automated alarm was the least favorable way for Aaron Vidra to wake up on any given day. Oh he loathed that sound. In fact he would love nothing more then to destroy it. However, he had to get up to fulfill his daily duties as the owner of a major corporation.
How he loathed his corporation as well. In fact, he despised many things. Too many thing to list in fact. However, that wasn't the issue at hand.
No. The issue at hand was that his prothstetic robotic arm was malfunctioning again, and he had a meeting to attend to in 2 hours. Hardly enough time to get ready, have breakfast, get his arm fixed, and get to the meeting on time.
"Fan-fucking-tastic. Just what I needed." Aaron had said before getting a scolding look from the robot "nanny". Well, as scolding of a look a robot could give.
"Sir, I would highly advise against the use of such vulger language. You would lose the respect of your business partners if you we're to continue on in such a way." The robotic voice made to sound like a female's advised.
"Oh get off of my case you rust bucket. I don't need to be lectured by you of all things this early in the morning." Aaron sighed and rubbed his temples to try to get rid of the growing headache that seemed to be making itself known.
"Excuse you. I'm hardly a rust bucket. I'm the newest MS46K model there is on the market! Rust bucket my nonexistent butt." MS46K, otherwise known as "Helga" replied.
"Yeah. You're the last model of MS to have ever been made. And that was over 10 years ago. The company shut down after your model was released. So yes, you are in fact a rust bucket. Or at least you would be if I didn't keep on doing maintenance on you..... Against my will mind you." Aaron scoffed out while crossing his human arm across his chest.
Helga chose to be quite before she started him on another rant about how much he hated anything to do with technology. Instead, Helga let out a robotic sigh, and continued about on her daily duties to keep the 3 levelled penthouse clean.
Aaron however, much to his dismay, got ready for his meeting. Halfway through trying to get his limp biotech arm through his shirt, he just removed the arm all together. Twisting the arm 90 degrees to release the locking mechanism that kept his arm on, and disconnected the wires that allowed him to control it. He placed the offending peice of machinery on the bed, and finally got dressed now that there wasn't anything to make his life complicated.
Finishing his morning ritual, he headed to the elevator that was located on the first level of the penthouse, and proceeded to head down to the parking garage to get into the hovercraft car. Another thing he hated. He always got motion sickness from being on hovercrafts.
After a ride that felt like ages, he made it to the corporate building just a few minutes before the meeting was to start. The door opened for him, to which he got out and absent mindedly thanked the sleek looking chauffeur; surely the newest model of high end machinery.
Sighing and wishing he could just be back home and in bed, Aaron walked into the building to be greeted by humanoid robots and cyborgs alike.
"Just another day at the office..." The young owner of the corporate building mumbled under his breath. He ran a hand through his short, red hair. Something he did quite often when irritated.
The natural Ginger proceeded to the meeting room, where he received several questioning looks about his missing right arm. He sighed again. Boy, this was gonna be a long day.
