Chapter 2

Piper's POV
"Another day," I thought as I walked over to Adventureland. Today I was working at Indiana Jones. I love the mystical atmosphere and how it really seems like you're in The Temple Of The Forbidden Eye. I went down to where the job operated, and started a test run with my good friend, Nolan. Nolan was the head cast member for the ride, and he was fun to work with. I got onto the ride and made sure everything was working properly. I came back out after the ride was over Nolan walked over to me, "hello Piper. How are you today?" He asked me. "I am wonderful, thank you," I said trying to be polite. "How are you doing?" I asked him. "I'm doing good, thanks." He responded. "No problem." "If you need anything please let me know. I'll just be a few steps away." He assured me. "Okay, thank you so much." "My pleasure." Nolan said as he walked away. Three minutes later it was time for me to start my job and the cast members up at the front opened the gates for the ride and and people came in. The people were directed to my side and they sat down. I went around and made sure the buckle fit them all okay. When I was done, I started the ride and told them to have fun and enjoy, and then they were off. Then the line started to move up and more people came onto the ride and I had to keep doing the same thing over and over again.
When I was done Nolan told me that I could go on break and someone else would take over and I agreed. So as I was walking outside I heard a beep from my phone. I took it out my back pocket so I can see who it was. It was my best friend Ava. She texted,
"Hey girly what's up? I was wondering if you would like to go to Downtown Disney later on tonight and eat at a restaurant?"
"Hey bestie, I'm just on break right now at my new job, and sure I would love to! Would it be okay if I invite my cousin Kaylee with me?" I replied.

"Ok sounds good. Let's meet at the restraunt called Rain forest Cafe at 5:00." Ava texted.
"Okay that's sounds great." I replied.
"Bye love ya," she said,
"Bye love you too."
After we said our goodbyes and got everything situated It was 4:00 PM and I have 4 more hours of work and then I get to see my best friend, Ava, and my cousin, Kaylee, but first it was time for me to get back to work. So when I got back inside I saw my friend standing a few feet away from me. I walked over to him and said "Hello." "Oh Hi there," Nolan said, startled. "I just wanted to let you know that I'm getting back to work." I told him. "Oh, great job." he said. "You are very responsible." he told me. "Aww thank you." I thanked him. "No problem." He replied back.
4 hours later..
"It's almost 8:00. How about four more jeeps to do then you are finished?" he asked me. "Okay then I can go?" I asked him. "Yes," he replied. "Great I'll let you know when I am done." I promised. "Perfect," he said as he started walking away. As the jeep was coming closer the line was moving up and twelve people sat in the jeep and put there buckle on. I went over and checked it to make sure it was snug, and it was. I went back to where I was and started the jeep so they can start their adventure, and they were off. After 3 more jeeps, I went over to Nolan and told him that I was leaving. And he said "oh ok, good seeing you." "You to." I responded. "Maybe we can go to the park sometime." I told him. "Yeah that would be great." He said in a quite voice. "I better go now." I said walking away. "Ok bye." He responded. "Bye," I said back.
