Liza's POV
July 16th, 2015

I wake up in pain. I find new bruises on my body. Sighing, I take an Advil, even though it doesn't do anything anymore. Walking around the house, I look for him. I finally broke up with him yesterday. It took a lot of courage. I'm still shaking from last night. I gulp and looked around. He's nowhere to be found in my parent's old house.

When I say "he," I'm referring to my ex-boyfriend. I just broke up with him last night. Oh boy, do I have a bad history with him. I'll explain what happened between Peter and I later in my story. But for now, here's the story of my life:

Since my parents died in a car crash 6 months ago, I've been living alone in their old house. I'm 19 years old, and I just dropped out of the University of Houston to become a pro-viner.

Our landlord has kindly given me 6 months to move out of the house. Today is the day. Today is the day I leave my past behind me and move to L.A. I have already purchased a nice apartment in the middle of the city of Los Angeles. I can't wait to get out of Houston, though this is the only place that I know.

I've always wanted to travel, but my parents wanted me focused on my academics. They always pushed me to do my best, even in elementary school. I took all my classes in English and Spanish through 5th grade, so I am fluent in Spanish as well as English. Every time my family would go to a Mexican restaurant, they would have me order in Spanish to show off their little "Mexican daughter," (Author's note: I know Liza isn't Mexican, but she always jokes about it... just go with it 😂) even though the waiter only spoke English.

I miss them daily. Now, I have no one. Well, I do have two older sisters, but they are always busy. They are business women living in New York City. As for my friends, they are off at college, but let's just say they party more than they study.

My plan is start my life fresh in L.A., and to make my life worth something. I will first need to rebuild myself. I'm going to focus on my career, but also make some friends. No boyfriends. I can't handle it. A boyfriend is not what I want, nor need right now.

Or so I thought.

If I were glass, I'd be shattered to pieces.

Hurt. Afraid. Broken.
Can a broken person ever heal?

Hey! If you're reading this right now, I promise it will become more positive and upbeat. 😊  Also, the chapters will be longer. I will try to update once a week, but like Liza, I may upload late. 😂 (it's ok Liza, we still love you) When school starts in September, I may upload every other week.

In case you wanna know a little bit about me: My name is Callie, (pronounced Cal-e) and I'm 14 years old. I live in the United States. My life consists of softball, volleyball, hanging out with friends, and of course, Diza and the vlog squad.

If you are to ever leave a comment, make sure it's positive and appropriate!

Thanks for reading!
