How My Life Changed

Chapter 1: Introduction and Meeting Romona

This is the sorry of how my life changed but first I should introduce myself.
Hi my name is Samantha and I am 16 years old I also attend Spartans High School.
I normally arrive to my classes on time besides my history class which starts around eight in the morning or so but I over slept.
I wake up run out of bed "crap! I'm going to be late" is my first initial thought but this morning I didn't really care because I am usually late to my history class everyday.
I run downstairs and tell my parents goodbye then I close the door behind me as I begin to ride my bike to school.
I run threw the school doors and arrive to my first period class out of breath.
"Sorry for being late again Mrs. Miller I missed my alarm clock again"
I lay a note onto my teachers desk giving the excused absence then I make my way to my desk.
"Ok class as I was saying before Samantha interrupted as usual"
the other kids silently sigh and open there books back to the page of there books then begin to read the history book.
As class continues on as usual I look over at the door and out of the corner of my eye I see a girl I have never seen around the school before. She walks inside the door I notice Mrs. Miller turn her head and give a warm welcoming smile to the girl
"Hello Miss Ramona" she begins
"class this is our new student she has transferred to our school for a fresh new start so please give a warm welcome to her before you leave class today".
All of my class mates say hello as I get up and grab my books to leave for the day Mrs. Miller pulls me and Ramona out to the side.
"Samantha I am putting you in charge of helping the new student around school and I expect for you to help her around as well as finding her classes for the day "
I look up and smile at the new girl she gives a nice shy smile back.
"So I guess we should head off what is your locker number?".
Ramona started looking threw her book bag to find all of her school papers
"it's number 567".
"Sweet that's right next to mine! Follow me and I will show you where our lockers are at".
I started walking with my new friend and I grab my books for my next period class I close the locker door.
"So Ramona what is your next class?"
"Math class then lunch" she slightly sighed "worst subject of the day!!"
"I also have math class the teacher is nice I guess you could say"
"Follow me and I will show you to the class"
Both the girls start walking and the bell begins to ring they both sit down beside one another.
After lunch and the rest of there classes the girls both walk out of school together then me and Ramona stop to talk for a few minutes.
"Hey Ramona can I have your phone number so we can talk outside of school and all?"
"Yeah sure of corse!!" She said smiling.
I get a piece of paper then after she writes her phone number I grab my bike then start to head home.
