{Inkmare}

My Dear Brother..

{Hello! Welcome to my Ink X Nightmare story! This chapter will be told from Nightmare's perspective.}

I was sitting at my desk, peacefully looking over my blueprints. Finally! A chance to get the star-
"Brother!" Someone yelled, running over to me and hugging me. I immediately grab my brother with my tentacles, and throw him across the room. He comes back to me, rubbing the back of his skull. "I want you to meet someone!"
"Do it quick, I don't have all day.." I sighed, standing up from my chair.

Dream grabbed my hand, and ran outside the mansion. I internally groaned. Every. Single. Day. He has me meet someone, most likely someone I already know. He stopped in front of a literal rainbow, and hugged him.
"Meet Ink, My best friend! Ink, meet my brother, Nightmare!" Oh. I forgot who he was for a second there. He wasn't wearing his usual outfit, he was wearing a slightly baggy sweater, that was rainbow designed. He also had on some long, dark pants. While I was in my passive form. Ink noticed me looking at him strange, and blushed.
"Dream made me wear it.." He uncomfortably growled. I can feel how much he hates me.

"Now that I have you two together, why don't we all go out for nicecream?" Dream asked, smiling innocently. Oh no, if isay no he'll do puppy eyes, and no one can say no to the puppy eyes. I can't believe he forgot I hate sweet foods.
"Fine.." I sigh. Ink glares at me, then sighed. Copycat.
"I'll go too.." Dream jumped up in joy. After finishing a tiny happy dance, he grabbed Ink and my hand.
"I know just the place!" He yelled, running through a portal.

Dream let go of our hands, only when we got to the nice cream guy. After he raced over to the nicecream guy, Ink accidentally brushed his hand over mine. I immediately pull my hand away in disgust.
"Don't touch me, freak!" I whisper yelled at him.
"Sorry!" He whispered back, with a bit of attitude in his voice. I immediately shot a glare at him, but it softened when Dream came back with two nicecreams.
"Here you go Brother!" Dream smiled, giving me a dark one. "And to you, Ink!" He gave a rainbow one to the rainbow. How fitting.

I lick the top of it, expecting it to be sweet. I blush a bit after I tasted it. It's actually pretty good. I glance over at Dream, who was stuffing the whole thing in his mouth, and had a light blue one. I look over at Ink, the exact same time he looks at me. We immediately look away. Why must I be so unlucky?

Ink left with Dream, leaving me in the AU alone. I sigh, and teleport over to a small clearing. It almost looked like the clearing near our tree that we'd use to go together. By the time I heard someone walk by, I noticed I was crying. They sat beside me, and I immediately covered my face. I don't want anyone seeing me in such a state.
"Are you alright?" Oh god this day can't get worse... Apparently, in this timeline, it can. Screw you timeline!
"Totally fine, now leave me alone." I heard Ink sigh, and sit closer to me. I assume he was about to hug me or pat my shoulder, but I scoot away from him.
"Don't touch me." I growled.
"Come on, let me help you.." Ink offered.
"I don't need your help." After all, this could be a trap for al I know.
"Suit yourself. But I'll be here." Ink said, scooting away.

After I got ahold of myself, I look up at the "stars." With the calm waters flowing, and a peaceful silence between us, it honestly calmed me down. I heard Ink chuckling.
"What's so funny?" I ask him.
"Oh, you just look adorable starring at the stars." It took us both a moment to process what he had said.

We both blushed furiously.
"W h a t ?" I ask, my voice darkening. Ink stood up.
"Whoops!!" He screeched before running through a portal he made. I got up, angrily, and teleport back to the mansion, in my aggressive form. This is not my day...
