Call Me Eagle

*Two Days Later*

Mikey and I have been texting each other a lot. He's really cute, nice, sweet, caring. Gosh I can go on and on.

So yesterday Mikey told Madison that he likes me. Obviously Madison's like my brother, so he told me. He asked me if I liked him back. I didn't know what to say so I told him I had to go. Honestly I think I do like him. Like a lot.

Leyla doesn't know about it yet, so I'm going to tell her after school because I'm going over her house today.

*After School*

"So Bea, hope you don't mind but we're going to Skype the boyz okay?" leyla said

"No I don't mind." i said back

"So have you been texting Mikey?" leyla asked

"Huh? oh yeah, he's really cool." I said while trying not to blush

That obviously failed.

"OMFG YOU LIKE HIM DONT YOU?!" she said as she pulled my shoulder

"Maybe.." I said while blushing

"OHMYGOD AWH I SHIP IT!" She exclaimed "Look they're calling"

She hit the answer button and two boyz appeared on the computer screen.

"Hey babe, hey mofo'" leyla said

"Hi boyz" I said while looking into the camera

"Hey Bea" Mikey said

"LOOK HOW CUTE" leyla said

"Once again leyla, you sound like mom." I said while rolling my eyes

My phone vibrated. I looked down at my phone and it said 'New Message: Mikey Da Bæ 😍'

I silently laughed as I unlocked my phone.

The message said 'hey beautiful ❤️'

Yeah Mikey's into calling me all of those names. Hey but I'm not complaining.

'Hi handsome ☺️' I sent back

I guess Madison noticed that both of us weren't talking.

"HEY GUYS WHO ARE YOU TEXTING?!" he yelled

"What? Oh no one" Mikey tried to play it off

"Uh, just my mom" I said

"Yeah okay. Bea give me your phone." leyla said

"No why." I said back

"Who are you texting?" she asked

"I told you it's my mom" I said

"Okay. If you're lying to me I swear Bea." She said

"Whatcha gon' do about it? All you'll do is trip me" I said while laughing

"Oh shut up" she said while rolling her eyes.

The boyz started to laugh.

My phone silently vibrated again. I looked down and saw a new text.

nice save there eagle 😂

I smiled to myself while realizing that he called me eagle.

You see, my last name is Aguila and in Spanish, it means 'eagle'. That's why a lot of people call me that.

I decided to reply.

To:

Mikey Da Bæ 😍

thank you very much and hush fusco 😂

I hit send and looked at the computer screen.

He smiled while looking at his phone.

I was about to say something but there was honking coming from outside. Indicating that my mom wanted me home.

"Ugh that's my mom." I said while getting up

"Well I'll see you later leyla and bye boyz!" I said

"Bye" Madison said

"Bye eagle" Mikey said while smirking

"lols k byeeeee" leyla said

I walked out of Leyla's room and I said bye to her mom.

Her mom is basically my second mom.

I walked into my house while getting greeted by the smell of my favorite soup.

*After Dinner*

I finished cleaning up myself, I did my homework, and now it's time for me to go to bed.

I texted Mikey saying goodnight, then I put phone on my nightstand.

I laid on my bed, staring at my ceiling, thinking about Mikey.

Mikey's a great guy, but I just don't want to get hurt again.

My ex crush Joey was horrible. Yet I liked with him for nearly 7 months.

I don't like talking about what happened, but what he did makes me not want to date anyone anymore.

I was deep in thought when I drifted into a deep sleep...
