Chapter 1

Hey, my name is Aidan Rivers and I am 16 years old. I live in Columbus, Ohio but soon I am moving to Rosewood, Pennsylvania. To be honest, I really don't know why, but I felt like I had something to do with it, my mom said it had something to do with her job, but I felt like it was something else. She needs to know that I'm not 10 anymore and don't fall for those little lies.

I play baseball all the time and play football for my school but I'm not that great. But today is moving day, so I better get packing. -Aidan.

*Two Hours Later*
Hanna- *yells* AIDAN! ARE YOU ALL PACKED?
Aidan- *yells back* YES JUST PUTTING MY TROPHIES IN A BOX THEN I WILL BE DOWN.
Hanna- *yells* OKAY.
*few minutes later*
Aidan- hey mom, what's the real reason you're making me and dad move back to rosewood?
Hanna- you really want to know the real reason?
Aidan- wow mom is it that bad?
Hanna- well back when I went to rosewood high-
Aidan- you went to rosewood?
Hanna- yes. Well anyways, there was this person named A who basically tortured me and my four other friends, and I've recently gotten a threat that said move back to rosewood, or else...
Aidan- or else what?
Hanna- or else I will kill your son.
Aidan- so this person wants to kill me?
Hanna- basically, and that's why we are moving back to rosewood. Your father was also affected by A.
Aidan- Really?
Hanna- yep. He solved all the codes for us, to help us get passed A, but then A started blackmailing dad. And as soon as we turned 18, we bolted out of rosewood and moved here, but now A is here, and we have to move back to that horrific town.
Aidan- will I be safe there?
Hanna- me and your father will keep you safe no matter what!
Aidan- thanks mom.

Yeah, I have two moms, can we please push that aside? Anyways, my name is Julianna DiLaurentis, but you can call me Annie. We all took one of my moms last name, which is Alison DiLaurentis, and my other mom is Emily Fields. We live in rosewood pennsylvania, and my best friend is James Cavanaugh, yes I know he is a boy, but we have both been through similar situations, with our parents. We get threats from this person named A, who also gave our parents threats. But today is the first day of school at Rosewood High, and to be honest, I don't know what to expect this year. So I have to get ready. -Annie.

I live with my mom in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I don't know who my mom is, but all I know is that I'm getting threats from this person named A, and I don't know what to do about it. Should I tell my mom? But then I feel like A would kill me or something. But anyways, we are moving back to rosewood and my mom claims it is because she can meet with someone for a job in Rosewood, but I think she is getting threats from A too. Well, I have to finish packing, but I'll be back. -Charlie.

Hey I'm James Cavanaugh and I go to Rosewood High, yeah. I don't have a very interesting life. Although I do get these threats from A. Funny right. The person is probably just joking around. My best friend is Julianna DiLaurentis. She gets them too, but she doesn't think that it is a joke. The first day of school is tomorrow, so I have to get my school stuff ready. So, bye. -James.

*Fast Forward to the first day of school*

Aidan's POV: As I wake up this morning, I feel nerves start to enter my body. New everything. I have no friends, and it is sometimes hard to make friends in high school. As I'm getting ready, I look at myself in the mirror and say, "if I was still in Ohio I could be dead right now." I'm happy that we moved, so I don't die, but I'm still sad because it's like I have to start all over again.
Hanna- good morning Aidan! Ready for your first day at Rosewood High?
Aidan- not really, I'm super tired.
Hanna- I would be too, and by the way, I still don't know when your dad is going to return from the army base.
Aidan- I wish he were here right now.
Hanna- me too me too.
Aidan- well I have to go.
Hanna- can I drive you? I want to see my old high school anyways.
Aidan- sure, just please don't embarrass me.
Hanna- I won't.
Aidan- thank you.
*at school*
Aidan- bye mom love you.
Hanna- love you too.

As I walk into school, this guy walks up to me.
James- hi!

James- this is my locker, so I guess our lockers are next to each other.
Aidan- yeah.. so what's your name?
James- James Cavanaugh. You?
Aidan- Aidan Rivers. Let's be friends.
James- okay. Are you from around here?
Aidan- no. I just moved here from ohio.
James- sweet.
Annie- hey James.
James- oh hey Annie. Annie this is Aidan. He just moved here from Ohio.
Annie- oh cool!
Aidan- h-hey.
Annie- my real name is Julianna DiLaurentis, but you can call me Annie because Julianna takes forever to say *laughs*.
Aidan-*laughs and looks down* well I uh, better get to my home room class.
Annie- who do you have for homeroom?
Aidan- Mr. Ellis.
Annie- same! Who do you have James?
James- Fitz.
Annie- ah. You're lucky though. I heard Mr. Fitz is super nice, but a long time ago he had an affair with a student.
Aidan- oh, really?
Annie- yeah.
James- let's get to class, we are going to be late.
Aidan- okay.

Charlie's POV: walking into school I look at my schedule and see my home room teacher. I have Ezra Fitz. That's cool! We have the same last name! Walking into his class I see him and he looks a lot like me and I start to wonder if he's actually my dad, since he abandoned us when I was a baby. Maybe he came here..
Mr. Fitz- alright roll call.. Abby Albright.. here! James Cavanaugh.. here. Charlotte Fitz..*eyes get wide and looks at Charlie* here. Alrighty then.
*after homeroom* Charlotte may you please speak to me for a second?
Charlotte- what do you need?
Mr Fitz- what is your mom's name?
Charlotte- Aria Fitz..why?
Mr. Fitz- I'm your father.
