With so much work to do, I still can't figure out how I'm supposed to start. I know. I know. I had to, but my body doesn't seem to respond to what I want it to do. Facing the laptop seemed like an oblivious act of alluring myself into yet another distracting activity of which in the end, will prevent me from accomplishing my task. Again.

Time check: 12:30 AM, and I'm still working my way out of this mess that I'm in. I really wouldn't care much about it but my life depended on most of what I to do. So, yeah... I'm still distracted. Anyways, where were my manners. Justin Kent... Shortened name for Conocido de la Justicia, which by the way, was my birth name given to me by my dearest Mamá Maria. It means "The Acquaintance of Justice". I don't exactly know why I was named that way, but probably something about her wanting me to become someone who always abides by the laws. At first it may sound pretty cool but trust me it ain't and I got 6 years of childhood education to prove that.

Tonight... I mean today... is the start of a new story for me. I started writing again in hopes of finding the true meaning of my life which apparently didn't seem so good. But who knows, maybe baby steps would take me to that place they called paradise. Today... is my DAY 1.

So... To the readers out there. This is how my stories will go. It might seem confusing and I'm also not sure if anyone one out there would like it, but... The stories will be told in a series of events that would or would not be happening in the real life. I dunno, maybe somethings are possible or maybe somethings are coincidental. I don't even know how this story would end yet. But, just like I said... This is just to kill my boredom, and everything is purely fictional... Or is it now?

Last night was a blast. Partying at the beach house, celebrating with friends, gathering and dancing hilariously around the bonfire, drinking alcohol, getting wasted and sick. Yeah right... That's not me.

I am more of a balanced kind of a person. Someone you could call a saint and a sinner at the same time. Half-angelic and half-demonic, if you know what I mean, but less the wings. I stay cool most of the time, like "Yeah dude! Wassup!" but in a typical way, like a simple wave of the hand or a nod of the head. Anyways... Last night... Oh, I've got a story about that. I think I should begin about telling you about this girl back in college that I had been crushing on for almost or around 2 years now.

Her name is Faith. Yeah you heard me. The name sounded like something so religiously inclined. And get this, even her figure is so divine and the look in her eyes seem like the heavens are calling out to you saying, "Come into the light." But sadly... that's the only thing that she'll ever say to me. After that, I wake up. Darn it! If only dreams like that could come true then I could say I'd be damned to be living it. Yup that's right. It was just a dream. Nothing but a figment of my imagination. A memory of something that never really happened. Something that makes me wanna stay in that dream and never wake up. But the darn thing just kept in repeating occasionally but I never get the chance to reach her hand. The next thing I know, is waking up literally on the side of my bed after falling on the floor.

Well what can I ever do? There's just some damn time in your life when you realize that there's something you could have within the reach of your hands and then suddenly disappears by the moment you've touched it. I know some of you out there have experienced this kind of bull. But, no regrets. I mean if something's supposed to happen, then it'll happen. But for me and Faith, nah... The only thing that ever happened between us is that we became acquaintances, almost friends... Okay fine, she was just someone I knew back in college.

"What kind of a story is this?" Kevin said annoyed after handing the notebook to Eric.

"What? It's fine. I think it's fine..." Eric browsed the tiny notebook cautiously and slowly. "Okay look... This is great, Kent!" Sounding a bit sarcastic. And odd. And turning sad as the seconds pass.

"Oh come on you guys. I need an honest opinion."

Kevin stood up and started walking away from the front porch of Kent's apartment. "I still have work to do."

"Kev... Can't you help me out here, even just a bit?" Kent begged but was discerned by Kevin.

Kevin looked back and said, "You should really be finishing your projects, you know. Stop your stupid writing and start fixing yourself." Kevin turned around and walked away.

"He's right you know." Eric uttered.

"Yeah..."

"I suggest you start by having your hair cut."

Eric decided to leave after that. Those two were the best of friends I could ever have in this life. None of my other friends seemed interested in what's going on with my life now. How can I blame them. I mean, we've separated our paths right after college and each of us went our own ways. Some have gotten themselves high paying jobs. Even Kevin has his own job in the big city. Eric, on the other hand, now runs his family's business. And here I am. Unemployed. Jobless. So much for dreaming about becoming a renowned writer. I couldn't even make my own friends read my stories.
