A New World

The Rain pounded on my window as my alarm consistently rang. I stuffed my face in my pillow thinking that if I acted sick mom wouldn't send me to school.
"RISE AND SHINE MY PRINCESS," my mother screamed.
"Today is the first day and I won't allow you to be laaaaatttteee!!!"
I still didn't move and she sat down next to me on my bed. She knew I was NOT happy.
She started rubbing small circles on my back and I must admit, it calmed me a bit.
"I know your not happy honey, but we had to. You know we did," with that she left me in peace.
Yeah, no SHIT I was mad! I finally had a pretty good life going for me back at home and as soon as I get home from my first day being a senior, they tell me we're moving to a small town with a weird ass name.
I jump outta bed and hop in the shower. As the warm water ran down my back, I can't help but wonder why we moved! I wanted to graduate at my old school because I had just joined the cheer team a couple years back and already colleges were interested in me. Now I probably have to "prove my worth" to some snobbish girls who think they own the place.
If there's one thing everyone needs to know, it's that I don't take shit. You best as well believe I will rip your fucking head of if you disrespect me. I'm actually pretty nice if your nice to me but alllll that can change the moment you piss me off.
Hopping out of the shower, I put on some blue denim skinny jeans, a white baggy sweater, my brown boots, and a red scarf to give it color. I grabbed my brown leather bag and draped it over my head and went off downstairs.
When I reached the kitchen dad kissed my head and gave me a hug.
"Good luck on your first day sweety. Be careful." With that he handed me pepper spray. I looked up at dad and rolled my eyes.
"Please hunny," dad pleaded while putting it in my bag.
"Fiiiiinnne," I dragged the word out.
"Thank you." After he kissed me goodbye once again he fled out the door.
I sat down at the table  and mom put bacon and eggs in front of me.
"I need you to eat so your full of energy to get all A's on allllll your projects today, right?" She eyed me all quizzical like.
"U-umm, sure momma." What can I say? Even thought they were putting me through a living hell right now, I still wanted them to know I loved them.
After I ate I went to the bathroom and put my hair up in a messy bun and headed out the door.
"Honey I'm gonna need you to take the car today." Mom said in a rush.
"Alrighty!" I said excited.
"Hurry home after school! There's gonna be a big surprise when you get back!"
I smiled and nodded and closed the door behind me. As I left the dirt driveway I saw how beautiful the town was. Surrounded by large tall trees. We lived out in the country so it was super quiet.
Driving down the road, I thought I saw something behind the trees. I confirmed that it was just my mind playing tricks on me and pulled up to the highschool parking lot. I stayed like that for about five minutes until I heard a tap on my car window. I look over and am immediately disgusted at what I saw. A guy with dirty blonde hair was biting his lip and air thrusting at me! A light shade of pink covered my cheeks as I opened the car door and purposely wacked him in the ass with it.
"Nice ass, man whore."
His cheeks were apple red when he slowly started to walk away watching me. I gave him a smile and walked to the entrance of the school.
All eyes were on me as I walked in. I was thankful that the principles office was right next to the entrance and slipped inside. A lady with red frizzy hair smiled politley and asked for my name.
"Quinn Lennity," I responded.
The nice lady looked up and smiled. I guess her name was Reshna Hofferman based on her name tag on her desk. She got up and walked to a back room and soon returned with a piece of paper.
"Here ya go hun, this had all your classes and locker combination on it. If you lose it your welcome to come back and get another one. Would you like someone to help you around?" Reshna made it sound like I was helpless and I didn't like it. Buuuttt I really don't want to wander around not having a clue as to where my classes were.
"That would be awesome," I said.
She smiled and right when she did a girl with midnight black hair came in with a big smile on her face.
"I could help ya! I'm Rensley Vonna!"
I smiled at her as she grabbed my arm and yanked me out the door.
"Thank you!" I managed to yell out before thus Rensley girl pulled my arm off.
"Don't mention it sweetheart!" Reshna called after me.
And just like that Rensley was pulling me though the school and ranting on and on about how good of friends we would be.
