Megan's POV

I tossed and turned for another half hour before giving up on the hope of at least an hour more of sleep. I slipped out of bed and quietly get dressed. I grab my purse and house keys from the living room and head out to Hunter Park to clear my head.

Marks POV

It's not until being at the park for twenty minutes I realized it was stupid to come in the middle of the night. I was just about to leave until I see a small figure walking into the park.

Megan's POV

I sit on a bench in the middle of the park and smile at the stars, wishing my life could be as peaceful as the sky tonight. After a while I became eerily aware of someone sitting on the other bench across from me. The light over by their bench was out so I couldn't see their face or whether or not it was a guy or girl. I chose to ignore the figure as it seemed to be minding its own business.

Marks POV

The figure sat on the bench in front of me and I froze, it was Megan. I watched her while she looked up into the night sky, smiling. Just like she used to when we were kids. She glanced over at me but looked away, she must not of recognized me cause of the light that's out. I slowly stood up so as to not startle her and walked into the ring of light coming from the light by her. She turned her head towards me and froze. "Megan? Hey, its Mark."

She stood up surprise in her eyes. "M-Mark!" She ran over and flung herself into my arms.
