No one POV
Gladys was ringing a fairly large size bell and yelling for the campers to gather around. As they came in she spoke.
"Since you're probably all wondering why I called you out here, its because I have some very important news.."
Zuri spoke, "You're finally getting rid of that weird shrine you made for my dad?" She spoke hopefully.
"We can finally swim in the lake?!" Griff said excitedly.
"We're getting edible food?" Tiffany said with slightly more sarcasm than usual.
Gladys obnoxiously laughed at the thought of any of those things happening and rolled her eyes.
"HA, NOPE," she said. "But we do need money to fix some of the cabins that apparently 'aren't presentable for visitors' and 'violate the health code.'" She did air quotes around the phrases.
"Are we supposed to be surprised?" Zuri whispered to Griff.
He chuckled and looked at Zuri and smiled while she unknowingly continued watching Gladys. He grabbed her hand and looked back to Gladys as well, watching Zuri smile sweetly at the small gesture from the corner of his eye.
"Anyway because of our low budget the Moose, Horse, and Grizzly cabins put together a 'spend the week with...' auction to raise money and you're favorites volunteered themselves!"
Most of the girls screamed in excitement.
"Wait we did?" Griff whispered to Jorge.
Jorge nodded, "You were asleep so we just wrote your name on the paper, you're welcome," he said innocently.
Griff sighed in annoyance.
"And you guys can use the money that your parents gave you for 'daily gourmet meals' for this," Gladys said.
None of the campers cared about Gladys' last statement because they were already running around, digging in their beds looking for any money they could possibly use and not get in trouble for using. This should be eventful.
