Chapter 1: Then They Met

"Adri it's time for you to wakeup, you know you have school right?!?" "OK OK MOM ugh".  I grab my paper bag, and my uniform then put it on.  Then grabbed my breakfast and ran out the door.  "Hey Jackie! " "Hey Adri! " I run to my friend Jackie she's been my friend sense kindergarten garden, but then she moved for a bit. Now she's back she comes back every two years for school. "Let's go Jackie we're gonna be late! " "Oki ima coming! ".  School was boring today like every other day of my life, so I just left after school. So I walked down the street,  the way I always go,  and all of a sudden these guys started fighting. I tried stopping them but I knew I was too weak but they were falling down just like that.  So I asked if the guy was a attacked then he smirked and said, "oh I'm fine" All of a sudden I was in a black space. I punched kicked but it was no use. "Let me out! " I hollered.  Then I woke up strapped to a table. The guy who was attacked was there and the rest of them, she tried getting loose from the straps but couldn't. "Don't even try" laughed the gang leader. "Why am I here?!? " I asked, still struggling. "Oh you want to know?,  ok,  so we want your blood. " ".... My blood? ".  He rolls his eyes and put s his face near her ears and whispers "yes".  Then his fangs dug in to her neck, she's never felt this pain before. "ngh  S-stop it hurts m-me... ".  "Good" he says letting go. "Hmmm who should I choose next... OH my favorite member here Luke its your turn". He comes over to the table gets on the table with her and leans over her ear and says "I hope your blood tastes sweet" he then digs his fangs into her other side of her neck. "Stop e-enough just bring me home p-please".  He gets off and says "ugh fiinnee let's go, where do you live? " "193 - wait I'm not gonna tell you"."Ugh  fine walk by yourself home I don't really care". She runs out leaving the door open. "You better hope she doesn't tell anyone Luke or you'll be my least favorite" the leader says walking away. Luke mumbles and storms off,  outside,  looking for her but she was long gone. I  got and walk through my door, my parents where there,  pretty mad looking. "Adri where have you been? ", "What happened are you hurt? ", "Where did you go? " said her parents.  "I took the longer way home and kinda got lost, ok ?,  sorry I'm late". "It's fine fine just go to bed it's late ok " "Ok night, I love you" "I love you too". I went to bed, then I heard a knocking ng noise on my window so I looked and the vampire, the one who was "attack" was there. He waved at me with a look.
