Kurt's POV
My head spun as I stood up from my position on the floor next to the lockers I was just shoved into.
"Watch out next time, fag", David Karofsky, the school neanderthal said as he walked past me.
I brushed the dirt off my blazer as i began to walk to my next class, Spanish.
As I sat down, I heard faint whispers from behind me. This, of course, was nothing new for me, being the only out gay kid at McKinley.
I pulled out my notebook and started writing in attempt to distract myself from the harsh things being said about me, but I couldn't help but to listen in.
"What a fucking faggot"
"I know right, be careful in the locker room, don't want him peeking at your junk"
That's the thing about straight boys in high school, they think every homosexual is a pedophile or desperate, when in reality, we just want to be accepted for who we are. Good thing I stopped giving a fuck a while ago. Why make friends when all they're gonna do is shit on you behind your back? I'd rather be alone than have fake friends, in my opinion.
"Kurt?", I stopped daydreaming to find Mr. Shuester calling my name.
"W-what?", I said, awkwardly and nervously.
"How do you translate '¿Cómo estás hoy?'"
"Oh, um, how are you today?", I sounded so fucking stupid, I could have just ended it there.
"Muy bien, Mr. Hummel", Mr. Schue said, with a slight anger to his tone. I should get a gold medal for pissing people off.
A few minutes later, the bell to go to lunch rang. I packed up my things and got up to leave when I noticed the back of a very large man's head blocking the doorway. It could have only been one person. Karofsky.
"Where ya goin', ladyboy?", he asked, quite rudely.
"P-please just let me go to lunch", I pleaded pathetically.
He grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me up.
"Stay the fuck out of my way", he said and dropped me to the ground as he walked away, laughing.
Most people would find this terrifying, but I'm so used to it, it doesn't even bother me that much anymore, which is pretty sad, when you come to think of it.
All bullying aside, this is my life, and I have to deal with it, no matter how shitty it can be.
