I walked into the new school, sort of shy, as my bubbly sister tagged along behind me. Both of us had been homeschooled our entire lives up until this moment. This very scary moment.
At first, everything was fine, that is, if you ignore all the creepy glares from all the villain kids. That's right. I almost forgot! Ben's proclamation to give the new generation of villains a chance! Awe man, this year is going to be even more stressful! I thought to myself as Mal walked by. Yeah, sure, she'd chosen good the year before, but after being in a house filled with stories of the awful Maleficent for years, Mal still gave me the creeps. But still, that house wasn't filled completely with horrifying stories of villains. I was also taught that you should always treat others the way you would wish to be treated. So, with that last thought in mind, I waved to Maleficent's daughter herself! She didn't chase me, scream in my face, spit at me, etc, like my mother said they would. Instead, she turned to me and waved. Only a wave, yet, it meant so much. Right then, I realized that good can be found in the baddest people, and that apples can fall far from the tree (though, I think that I always knew that deep down). Being around certain people changes you, and I think that being around the people of Auradon Prep was going to do me some good.
