"Victoria we can't keep her here. She isn't safe the French are coming to take over the kingdom." King Joseph whispers to his crying wife. Callborough Palace was no longer a happy place. Everyone was running all over the place preparing for the incoming French army.

"I know but I can't imagine anyone else raising our daughter." King Joseph looks at his wife sadly as she places the sleeping two month old into his arms. "Find someone trustworthy to raise her and makes sure she has someone to protect her." He nods walking out of their bedroom not stopping even when he hears his wife's sobs.

"Chef Reeve, may I talk to you for a minute." The chef stops looking up to the King and his daughter with worry.

"Of course sir." The chef shifts on his feet nervously waiting for the King to talk.

"Take her faraway from here. Raise her as your own and have the Thompson boy be her protector." The Chef looks at the King surprised before nodding.

"Of course your highness." The king placed his baby girl in the Chef's awaiting arms. He looks back up at the Chef before speaking again.

"Bring her back to us when she turns 18. Unless we're dead or if there is still war in our kingdom." The King looks down sadly at his daughter giving her small cheek a caress.

"Yes sir."

"Your mother and I love you Alexandra Marie Williams." He gives his daughter a kiss on the forehead. He turns away from the Chef, ready to head back and comfort his wife. With one last glance the King turns the corner, not knowing if he'll ever see his daughter again.

The Chef tightens his grips on the little girl before cautiously making his way back to his living quarters. He finds his wife nervously pacing in their bedroom.

"The King wants us to raise the Princess in a safe place far away from here. He wants the Thompsons to come with us, their son will be her protector." She nods rushing of to find Mrs. Thompson.

An hour later the two families began the long trek towards the small village of Wanath on horseback.
