plants are living things and they maintain homeostasis.
they live. they adapt. they photosynthesize. they grow.
they need sunlight. they reach for that light. grow and grow.
and grow. but then, fall
and fall.

they need and want light. they grow up and reach it. but along the process, gravity pulls them back.

reaching for something you want. you need. for life. but this particular reality is an asshole and make it impossible. and you can't do anything about it because... that's life.
