The name is Eyitayo, I go by Tay though. I'm 15 & currently somehow surviving high school. I'm pretty antisocial, as some would like to call it. I have 'friends,' but I don't even like to talk to them because I feel as if I'm bothering them. I keep all of my emotions boxed up & I like to keep them that way. Oh. Ew, school.
I groan with the thought having to see the same old faces in the same old building. Ugh, everyone is so rude at my school. Nobody is nice.
I pull the white bed sheets off of me & go to the closet that my foster sisters & I share. We each grab our individual school uniforms & get dressed for another day. There's Andrea, Sydney, Valeria, Aaliyah & I that share the room. Syd + Val are thirteen, Aaliyah is fourteen, then Andrea + I are fifteen. There's news that we'll be sharing the room soon with another member, her name is Noemi, but we haven't met her yet. I go to the bathroom, wash my face, brush my teeth & hair, then head to the family kitchen with the others. I pour out my favorite cereal into the plastic bowl. Apple Jacks are the shit.
After my sisters & I are done with our cereal, we head out the door & towards the bus stop. We go to a private school, so we have to wear uniforms. Once we get to the bus stop where we wait, I pull out my phone & scroll through Instagram on my fan account. It was a Joey Birlem & Tayler Holder account, 'Jaylerasf.' The bus was already down the street & headed our way, so I shoved my phone in my backpack & got on the bus after my sisters.

Once the final bell had rung, I got to my locker & put my stuff in there. After that, I headed to the bus area, where my sisters & I waited awhile together. Since there was nothing important to talk about, I sat on a bench & pulled out my phone & earphones. I opened superimpose & decided to finish up an edit for my theme, as 'Falling' by Jack & Jack played.
Eventually the bus came & we got on. As soon as I took a seat, I put my headphones in. I doubt that I go anywhere without my headphones hahah.
We soon all got home & started on homework, since it was a Thursday afternoon. Shortly after finishing my math homework, we were called out for dinner. At the dinner table, our 'family' would pray & go around asking each of us how our day was. Same old, same old, but I was thankful for it. After prayer & everybody conversing, our 'mom' had gathered everyone's attention.
"I have special news" we all froze.
"What is it?!" Val asked excitedly.
"It's for Tay!" Our mother said.
"What is it?" I asked wide eyed.
"I found a home for you," she said.
Oh my. The day is finally here... I can't believe it.
"Are you serious?!" I shouted with a huge smile.
"Yes, out in California!"
