I didn't care what we did
as long as I was with you.
I had sweet, strong feelings,
now all I feel is used.
I just wanted
to make you feel okay
All she is doing
is waiting on your next pay.
You took me to the fair
And told me that you loved me.
But a 'place holder'
Is all I was meant to be.
You put on a good show
With the long nights on the phone.
And then you went and left
And now I'm all alone.
You told me
she ain't a girl to worry about.
But I know she's the one
You've been thinking about.

Going to my favorite man'
Asking you about it
And you say 'she's just a friend'.
While you're lying next to her
I hope you're thinking of me.
And all of the things that we did,
And how we used to be.
You told me you were scared
Of being left out here alone.
Telling me you miss me
While you two are on the phone.
Friday's your big date
Don't act like I don't know.
Don't tell me that you're sorry.

All I think about
is 'was it with me in it?'
