Like a splitting image | Kakashi love story

Prologue

Smoke.

That was all I smelt as my village burned to flames. Rushing out my house before it collapsed because the flames on the roof. Women screaming for their children some for their lives. But the chaos didn't end there bombs where exploding in multiple areas. I knew that a great deal of people would die tonight but I hoped not to be one of them.
As I ran to the village boarder I heard a child scream for help. I turned to my left to see a little boy hanging out his window about to fall in a pit of fire. I ran towards the house and thought quickly about what I should do. I could climb on the house and grab him but how will we get off, what if when I jump on we both fall in the flames. WHAT IF- I was cut off my the boy falling off the window seal. I cut off all thoughts and jumped through the fire to catch him. Well that's one way to do it I say while I pat the fire off with the kid in my other hand.
"My son," A woman who I assumed was his mother come up to me grabbing him from my arms.
"Thank you, I could never thank you enough," She said bowing her head then she left. When she ran off I was thinking  I'm a really good person if I do say so myself. I decided to get a move on before the flames devour my body sacrificing it to a fire Demon where my skin will be burned off piece by piece. Ok so maybe I went a little far with that but I will be burned alive if I don't hurry.

Uuuhhhhhhggh I've been walking for days, I have nothing to eat or drink. I managed to bring a few things, like food water clothes, and my favorite book. I didn't expect to be walking for so long. I'm starving, man I shouldn't have ate those two rice balls as a snack. I have ramen but I don't even know why, there's no way I could heat up water even if I found a lake. I continued walking to find one anyway. I mean the ramen my not be hot but at least I won't be hungry. About two hours later I found a lake surrounding many trees. I drunk some and proceeded to find a way to eat my ramen. After a eating the not so pleasant cold ramen I decided to camp out there and venture back out in the morning.

As soon as i woke up a bird flew by and it pooped on my forehead.
Oh come on, I just woke up and things are already happening to me. Damn it now I have to wash this poo off my face. Oh for crying out loud can I just have a normal day once in my life. I washed my face but not before getting some water to go because this will be my last stop before I leave for my goal to find another village.
