On A Wintry Night
I heard the dog
Barking in fright,
That's all I could hear
On a Wintry Night.
The sounds of cricket
Heard not in sight,
Jingling like bells
On a Wintry Night.
Christmas is near
But there is no delight,
Why are people so selfish
On a Wintry Night.
Let's lit up the roads
And make the streets bright,
Bring happiness to everyone
On a Wintry Night.
