Ode's POV:

I'm just your average person. Going out for breakfast then driving to work, my favorite place to go is that new shop that opened about 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure it's called August's Place, on the outside it looks plain and dull but whenever you're inside it's so pretty. it's decorated like the season fall, the walls have painted trees with orange leaves falling, the chairs and tables are made of polished wood. The boy at the counter looks up and smiles, "hey Ode! Want the usual?" he asks with a small smile, his recently dyed blue/green-ish hair falling in front of his brown eyes. I smiled back and shrugged, "Yea, but can i get a small sweet tea with it?" I responded, moving my dirty blonde hair away from my green eyes, August nodded and looked at the cash register then back at me, "today breakfast is on me." he reached over and grabbed his wallet, pulling out a 10 dollar bill and placing it in the cash register then called out the order to the cook in the back. August turned back towards me, he walked out from behind the counter and led me over to a table. I sat down and laughed lightly as he sat down opposite of me. "So what time do you get off?" i asked, looking over at him and smiling, he looked back at me and shrugged "around 5 PM. why?" he responded and i looked down at the table, "well i wanted to see if you would like to hang out at the park after." i looked back up at him and he was nodding quickly, "of course i wanna hang out with my best friend!" he replied and we both stared at each other for a minute then laughed obnoxiously loud. The cook then came out with a plate that had my breakfast and another plate with his breakfast on it, the cook looked at me and said, "your sweet tea will be right out." i nodded and smiled sweetly at him as he ran back to the kitchen to grab my sweet tea then he came right back out with it and handed it to me, "thank you!"  i yelled as he ran back to the kitchen, but he glanced back at me and gave me a thumbs up. I looked over at August and smiled, "let's eat shall we?" he nodded and we both started to eat our breakfast.
