Draco's pov:
It's the 1st of August one month until we leave for hogwarts to join our 5th year and it's also my birthday. I'm not really bothered for birthdays anymore considering I already own everything. My mom and dad came up stairs and nervously entered my room. I could tell something was of first of all malfoys don't get nervous and secondly I never see both my parents at the same time unless there is a meeting so something was of.
"Morning honey, happy birthday!" My mother said in a cheery voice. My father walked over to me and sat on my bed with a serious look on his face. "Son, we need to talk" He said sternly. "Of course father what is it?"
I looked into his eyes waiting for him to reply and I saw a hint of worry hidden in his eyes.
"As you know you shall be getting your inheritance today." He paused
" It's usually not painful at all, however there is something you must know." He stopped to let me take it in. I have a really bad feeling about this.
" Yes father?"
"Well you see your not just a wizard in fact your very powerful you are half wizard and half demon these creatures are called halfas. And when you get your inheritance your body will change, you will still look the same but you will be more powerful aswell, you will also have wings and possibly fangs depending on how powerful you are if you do it means you are a strong creature if not it's alright your still stronger than the rest. Also ....." He stopped. " Let me guess I have a mate don't I?" I asked.
"Yes you will have a mate and it could be anyone but you will know when you see them, you will be able to smell them and if you see them you will either recognise them as mate or your demon will tell you. You will be very protective of your mate and will obviously be the dominant of the relationship. Oh and you will have a tiny person inside your head annoying you to death by talking." Father said.
"Wait let me get this straight. I have a tiny person inside my head. How does that work?" I asked. "Well you see that tiny voice you will hear is your demon and will constantly give you advice. It will however overpower you If something happens to your mate and your eyes will turn black to show power so you must always stay in control unless you want to murder someone. Obviously I don't want a letter coming home saying that you murdered a student in the middle of the hallways now do we?" He said sternly.
"Of course father I understand so when will my inheritance start then?"
" it will start at exactly 12 o' clock and will probably last an hour or so but be warned it will be excruciatingly painful so there is a high chance you will pass out."My mother finally spoke up after my father had filled me in on all this.
They soon left me to take in all the information and to prepare myself for when I start my inheritance. It should be starting soon.
2 hours later
I can feel a tingling sensation in my body it must be the inheritance starting. I got into bed waiting for the pain I knew was to come.
I could feel the magic pulsing through my veins as I could feel the pain following in its path. It felt as if I had been hit my hundreds of crucio curses at once then struck by lighting a thousand times more. I passed out due to the amount of pain I was enduring.
After I woke up I felt stronger more powerful but also alot heavier I turned my head around to see big black feathered wings coming out of my back. I could feel the sharp teeth coming out of my gums inside my mouth I stood up and went to the mirror to get a better look at myself and damb was I hot.
Suddenly I heard laughter, I turned around but there was no one there. I called out to the empty room just in case. " who's there?" I asked. Thankfully no one responded I must of been imagining it. But as soon as I took a sigh of relief I heard someone say "me, I'm here in your head stupid."
"Are you my demon then?" I asked ignoring the fact that he called me stupid. " Yes I am but you can call me Akuma as that is my name, and you don't need to speak aloud you can just speak in your head, remember I know everything your thinking even if I'm not talking." Akuma said.
'Alright then Akuma' i said to him in my head. "Mate is not in this house we must look for them." Akuma said.
'Well we can always look for them when we get to hogwarts I'm sure they will be there. Besides we still got a month to find her anyway.' I replied.
" What makes you so sure it's a girl draco for all we know it could be a boy,"Akuma said.
'Nope, no way I'm not gay at all trust me.' I replied almost instantly. "But you don't have to be gay for your mate to be a boy you know, not everyone understands that. There is a possibility that it is a boy even if your not gay but we will see when the time comes," Akuma said mischievously.
'How about we bet on it then' i said. " Alright deal what are the rules" He replied with a hint of amusement in his voice. ' i bet thst it will be a girl and you bet it will be a boy and If I am right you shut up for a whole day of my choosing and if you win then you can take over my body for a whole day of your choosing. How about that then?' I said knowing full well that he would agree.
"Your on."
