School continued, training started, and Bakugo never felt as much anger as he did the first couple weeks at U.A. Class had taught him that he knew nothing and training showed him that he wasn't as good as he thought he was.

Sure he was one of the top in the class, but he didn't feel any satisfaction from it. He wasn't winning like he was supposed to, just being better than other people. There was no thrill or rush of danger, just pointless trials and anger. Tons of anger.

Most of it was directed towards Deku and his stupid quirk, but some was towards his classmates and their attempts at making friends. He needed people who would blindly follow him without question, not ones who wish each other good luck and give support at every given opportunity.

But it was fine, Bakugo just needed to get stronger.

Today they would be doing more training, so Bakugo went into the boys changing room and putt on his training suit, getting ready to leave when he turned and noticed something on Todoroki's hip as the man was taking off his shirt.

The changing room lockers went by seat order so he had annoying ass Deku on his left and this half-and-half bastard on his right. Apparently, his dad was some pro hero so it made him a pretty strong rival of sorts. They had never fought so Bakugo couldn't tell how strong he was, but he looked out for him.

"The fuck," Bakugo mumbled, getting a closer look at the mark."That fucking Deku." Bakugo seethed, feeling his palms heat up in anger. Of course Deku would have such a strong soulmate and what did he get? Nothing.

"Why are you looking at my chest, Bakugo?" Todoroki asked calmly, stepping away from him and his intense glare.

"You and that fucking nerd will make a perfect couple," Bakugo said with a cruel smile, squeezing Todoroki's shoulder harshly and passing by him, though he really hoped they wouldn't end up as a couple. It would be annoying to see them all touchy feely all the time.

Made him sick just thinking about it.

"What to you mean?" Todoroki asked before Bakugo could leave the the changing room.

Bakugo looked back at him with a seething glare."Everyone and their fucking soulmates can just go and fucking die. Deal with your own fucking problems." With that he walked out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

That day he had the worst scores he had ever recorded.

Ever since that incident in the changing rooms, nothing had changed. It seemed like Todoroki hadn't said anything to Deku and Bakugo questioned whether he had heard him correctly. He was pretty fucking clear.

Well, it didn't matter much to him. If Todoroki decided not to say anything to him that was fucking fine with him. That meant that he wouldn't have to deal with all their inane couple antics.

Bakugo walked towards the classroom, sharply sliding the door open only to find Deku surrounded his new friends who were right in the way of his fucking desk."That little fuck," Bakugo murmured in rage, getting ready to go over there and crush the little fucking nerd.

"Bakugo," someone said, putting their hand on his shoulder."I would like to talk to you."

Bakugo turned around, instantly glaring at Todoroki who stood behind him."The fuck do you want?"

"Could a speak to you? It will be brief," Todoroki said, his eyes looking straight into Bakugo's in an unnerving way.

"I heard you. If you have something to say, then say it," Bakugo growled, growing tired of their back and forth. First Deku and now this fuck, what next?

"I would like to talk somewhere else," Todoroki said, suggestively looking towards the end of the hall.

"Just fucking tell me!" Bakugo raged, getting ready to blow up the bastards face. Instead, Todoroki grabbed hold of his arm and forcefully pulled him down the hall.

Other than blazing anger, Bakugo was mainly stunned. To think Todoroki would even think of grabbing him was unheard of. But that was U.A. for you, full of fucking surprises. Like the fact that Todoroki hadn't gotten his fucking face blow off yet.

Bakugo wanted to know what Todoroki wanted to him talk about so much that he would risk getting himself killed."You bastard," Bakugo growled, snatching his arm away from Todoroki once they were at the end of the hall."What do you want, huh?!"

"I understand that you have known Midoriya since childhood," he said, staring intently at Bakugo."What would be the best method of telling him we're soulmates?"

"...Are you serious?" Bakugo raged, feeling his hands heat up."This is what your ass dragged me down the hall for? Did your brain not process what I said? Deal with your own problems."

"I don't know how to tell Midoriya that we are soulmates and I don't want to trouble anyone else," Todoroki said, staring Bakugo in the eye again."Help me."

"Fuck no," Bakugo said, getting up from his spot against the wall and moving to go back to the classroom.

He felt Todoroki grab his arm and sharply turned around, hand up and ready to blow his face off."The hell-"

"Please," he said, looking at Bakugo with pleading eyes. He let go of his arm, bowing before him.

Bakugo turned back around, taking a couple steps and then stopping himself. If Todoroki said the wrong thing then there could be more shit drama around him than if he said the right thing. He weighed the options and decided, he would give him a couple words of advice and thats all.

"Deku likes to overthink things, somjust tell him what the fucks happening and what you want so he's not all whiney and confused. Its annoying," Bakugo said, not bothering to turn around. He started his walk back to the classroom, continuing his lanky stride like nothing happened.

"Thank you." He heard Todoroki mumble, the words barely audible.

For some reason they made him slightly happy. Such a powerful and strong hero had to come to him for advice and had to rely on him for such a big matter. He was counting on Bakugo and only Bakugo's words to get him though such a huge issue.

What a bitch.

A/N: My logistics for Todoroki's quirk is that he doesn't use his fire side until the sports festival
