Josh Dun x Reader - Feels Like Forever

Sometimes I wish my childhood more than anything. A cute little house in Columbus, Ohio, with my most favorite people in the entire world.

But a lot has changed.

Hollywood was so much more different than Columbus in every way. Big actresses and actors, movie premieres every Friday. And the sun shining wherever you go. Sometimes I really do miss Tyler and his whole family on how it used to be.

*FLASHBACK*

As we both threw our graduation caps in the air, we started crying into each other's arms.

"I hope you have so much fun in Hollywood (Y/N)!"

"I'll miss you so much Tyler" I said, trying so hard not to drench his clothing in my tears.

"Me too." he answered, doing the exact same.

We both squeezed each other until we couldn't breathe,but never stopped.

FLASHBACK ENDS

I call up Tyler, for probably the fifth time already, telling him again how excited I am for the emotional roadshow and thanking him profusely that he invited me. I couldn't wait to see Jenna.

And Josh.

The last time Josh and I ever spoke, it was because I fractured my leg at a concert and Tyler wasn't there to help me.

Things have been awkward ever since.

(Y/N).That was two years ago. It's all the past. He probably already forgot about it now. Stop worrying.

I finally reach Tyler and although we are both adults in their mid twenties, our childishness has never faded away.

"Tyler!! Aren't you excited!!" I squealed.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME (Y/N)?! We haven't seen each other in FOREVER!! I'm so pumped!!!!"he said over the phone.

It was as if time had never passed and we were excited eight year olds again playing in the back yard with Maddie, Zack, and Jay.

"On a more adult-like-not-very-kid-like note, I'm quite excited for you to spend more time with Josh, given your last encounter."he said.

"Tyler, I just don't know. We've never spoken to each other. For all the millions of concerts that I've been with you and he was there, we've always said "hi" or "see you later". And the last time he saw me, I was screaming crying in his arms in pain." I said.

"(Y/N). You were born to be a Hollywood actress. Your making too much of a big deal. Josh is such a sweet and amazing guy and you guys are going to be besties!! ...maybe even more!!" he whispered but just enough for me to hear.

"Tyler. Isn't he still with Debby? Don't be ridiculous" I said.

All of a sudden Tyler started bursting out laughing and although it was childish, I did like it because it reminded me of old times.

"They broke up on the last day of the Vessel tour (Y/N). Their good friends now, but it did not work out." he said so happily hoping that I would give him a chance.

You can't fool me that well Ty.

"I gotta go Ty. SEE YOU IN TWO DAYS!!" I squealed.

"OKAY BYE MAKE SURE YOU PACK VERY ADEQUATELY!! LOVE YOU" and then he hung up the phone.

I started to get out my suitcase and make a list of what I needed to pack.

It's going to be so much fun I thought to myself.
