"Where have you been?" Chloe asked.
"I'm sorry I... couldn't find all of my books." I lied.
I really didn't want Chloe to find out what happened. I had to lie because knowing her she would punch him in the face and she'll make sure that he wouldn't step another step in this school. I really couldn't concentrate in class I was still shocked that Eli really was here and that he basically wanted me back. Apparently the bell rang signaling the end of class but since I was so distracted I didn't even hear it.
"Hey you, are you ok?" Vick asked.
I got startled, I thought that Eli was there making another approach.
"What's the matter with you, you're all shaky?" he asked concerned.
"Yea, sorry I was thinking about something." I finally responded.
"Chloe told me about that guy coming back," he replied, "if you ever wanna talk to me about I'm always here you know that right."
"Thanks Vick." I leaned in to hug to show him my gratitude. It seemed as if he didn't want to let go eventually I had to pull away.
"Come on lets go to our next class." I said.
As we walked out of the classroom I felt protected by Vick I noticed how tall he seemed it was as if he was my personal body guard.

The rest of the day went very slowly but I felt protected by Vick who was watching out for Chloe and I. After school I went over to Chloe's house to do our homework. We finished around 6:00 p.m. so we decided to walk to Mountain Park and hang out a bit. As we were walking down the path that goes down to a cave like over head. Little kids always liked going to that hiding place for hide and seek. As we went under I heard my name being called.
"Hey did you hear that?" I asked Chloe.
"Yea someone's calling your name."
As Chloe said this I felt a shadow coming over us. When I turned around Eli was staring right at us. I almost coughed from that strong scent of liquor he must have been drinking a lot. Before I could do anything he grabbed my arm and pushed me to the ground.
"Lola," Chloe screamed, "get off of her bastard!"
I tried to move but his hands were pulling me down and I couldn't move. He started to kiss my on my neck and he creeped up to my lips. The worst part was the stench of liquor. Each time I struggled he pushed my head onto the gravel and I started to get light headed.
"Someone help!" Chloe yelled.
"Shutup," Eli yelled back, "your next if your lucky enough and don't you dare move or I'll smash your head with a rock."
Someone must of heard Chloe's screams because next thing I knew I heard running footsteps.
"Shit," he exclaimed,"look what you did now!"
When the footsteps got closer he picked me up and put me in a choking position.
"Let go of her!" Vick exclaimed.
Vick! What was he doing here. From what I could see in the dark he was where his baseball uniform he must have been coming home from practice when he heard the screams. Someone else was there with him but all I saw was a figure. I was starting to loose breath and I started to collapse I was getting light headed because of the choking.
"Let go of her or your dead!" the figure yelled.
It was a guys voice and it sounded familiar it had to be someone from school. Next thing I knew Vick sneaks behind Eli and grabs him from the back so Eli's grasp would let go. As I fell on the hard floor in a small corner. The anonymous person punched Eli in the face it seemed as if Eli was bleeding but I really couldn't see in the dark. Vick picked him up and pushed him against the wall of the cave.
"If you ever touch those girls again you won't see the time of day." Vick said.
Wait "girls" Chloe where is she I started freaking out and I started yelling her name when the unknown person picked me up and took me out of the cave. When I saw the light I looked straight at the figure and to my disbelief it was Anthony. My eyes were still foggy and I was shocked I would never believe that Anthony would ever save my life this only happened in my dreams and fantasies.
"Anthony?" I said taking a deep breath. I was still light headed from the attempt of choking me.
"Yea its me don't talk just take in some air you'll be fine." he replied.
When he set me down on a bench I remembered that Chloe was missing.
"Where's Chloe?" I asked.
"I told her to go get help. Don't worry she's fine."
She must have gone when Eli was starting to choke me thats when I got light headed and the place started to get foggy she must have sneaked out and I didn't even notice. As I sat up on the bench I saw Vic pulling out Eil by his shirt.
"Relax you'll be fine put your head back down." as Anthony said this I saw his face coming towards mine and then he kissed my forehead.
Then I heard sirens and then everything started getting darker and darker the next thing I remember was blacking out.
