“ok be brave” I hung up the phone as two cops came in the front door

“are you ok hunny” I looked up at them and I couldn’t hold my anger in anymore

“does it look like im ok? I just watched my mom and dad get murdered on fucking Christmas eve of course im not ok” a female cop came by my side

“come on dear lets get you out of here” I stopped her

“wait can I have their rings please, that’s all I want” she nodded her head and I went to the tree and grabbed their rings and put them on the chain of my necklace.

That was the worst day of my life I lost my mom, my dad, and myself. I went to the police station and answered all their questions then they put me on a plane to go live with my moms closest friend Macy. Iv seen her a lot but not lately all I know is that she lives with her husband, Tony, and her 5 sons, Derek, Jax, Jacob, Sam, and Collin.

Yup im going to be the only girl in a house full of hormonal teenage boys. Now some will think well whats the harm in that? My answer to that is im not your average teenage girl. Im smarter than most adults I can remember things that happened when I was 3 months old, I can read something and always remember it. Technically im an adult in a child’s body, I try to stay away from teenagers all my past boyfriends were older than 18 but younger than 25. I sat back in my seat with my earphones in blasting one of my favorite songs ‘no apologies, by sugar red drive’ until the flight attendant stood next to me

“you need to put your seat belt on, we’re about to land” I nodded my head and buckled up as I braced myself for this was a new beginning for me, but I refuse to forget my past, like I could even if I tried. After we landed I grabbed my carry on and headed off the plane to get the rest of my luggage and then to figure out where these people are. I stood in front of the airport for an hour until I gave up and hailed a cab thanking god that I knew the address.

I took a breath as we pulled up to their house, it wasn’t a two story house like I was expecting but it was really long like it was 6 houses connected together and I was amazed for better words. I paid the taxi driver as he handed me my bags and I walked up to the front door knocking until a boy, about 13 with shaggy brown hair and piercing green eyes, opened it with a scowl

“sorry we don’t want no cookies” I smirked at him

“good thing im not selling them” another boy, who looked like his twin but with piercing blue eyes, came up behind him

“what do you want then?” I shook my head getting really irritated

“is macy here?” the first one shook his head

“no one lives here by that name” he tried to close the door on me but I pushed it back open where everybody else who was sitting on the couch looked at me with wide eyes

“listen here, iv had a bad day and iv been on that damn plane for well over 18 hours. I know macy is here so tell her I would like to speak with her” just them macy came down the stairs and smiled when she seen me

“rose? Why are you just standing there?” I shrugged my shoulders

“I should be the one asking questions and the main one is why I had to stand outside of that airport for an hour before I had to get a damn cab” her eyes widened before she turned to another boy who looked really hot, he had shaggy black hair and brown eyes that were really hypnotizing

“Jaxson, I told you to pick her up from the airport” he shrugged his shoulders smirking at us

“hmmm I guess it slipped my mind, I had more important issues to deal with” one of the other boys laughed
