Chapter 1
Woke up this morning feeling as if I was about to die. My life is not perfect and I don't want it to be perfect. Today, as always, is going to be terrible . It's only 6:38am. I'm not supposed to be up this early but my parents can't do anything about it so I just laid there. Staring at my ceiling. Thinking about him.

Jackson Rider is his name.My best friend. He is the kind of person who got in trouble all the time, however, it was for a good cause. He stood up for those who needed help. That was how I met him. I was getting shouted at because I smashed the trophy case in the hallway and broke 'some' trophies. Then I saw Jack. Walking down the hall like he heard nothing. Suddenly, he stopped and looked up and saw me. I looked at him. That moment I said to myself that he was the one. The one for me. I felt the spark within us. Jack smiled and shook his head and he started to giggle. The teachers then recognised that he was there. Jackson came up to us and said that he was the one who had done it. The teachers were confused.

"I did it not Makayla," Jack repeated. "I came down here and smashed the case but I ran off and Makayla just happened to be behind me."

I didn't know what he was doing but it was nice of him to do so.

One of the teachers said, " Oh well that would make more sense.Um...so Jack you'll be having detention with me in my room which is 231 in the english corridor."

Then the teacher left and so did Jackson.

It's 7:45am now. Better go and get in the shower and get dressed and I'll be seeing Jackson in about an hour or so. So i need to hurry up and get ready.
