'P' stands for POINT in the word PEECLAW. You use this to open up your analysis. This should only be at maximum two sentences as it is very basic. This is the easiest letter of the technique. Lets put this into practise. Lets say that I'm analysing the play by Shakespeare ' A midsummers night dream'. I am going to write about the way he uses ambitious vocabulary to describe the setting and characters. My point will be:
'Shakespeare uses ambitious vocabulary to describe the setting and people.'
