It was a day like any other, and I was walking home from another lonely day of college. I had just parted ways with one of my classmates when my vision started going black. Before I knew it my legs collapsed from underneath me, and I was lying on the ground unconscious.

When I awoke I found myself in an unfamiliar place. It appeared to be a bedroom, and I was in a bed that had a man that I don't recognize in it next me. Wait-, there's a man I don't recognize?! As soon as I realized this I began to panic. I realized I had to calm down, so I began to shake the man who I didn't recognize at all. As soon as I accomplish waking him up I took in a shaky breath, "Where are we, and who are you?"

He answered in a husky voice that was full of exhaustion, " You're at my home, and I am Eliodoro. Although, some humans would translate it to 'gift of the sun.' Now may I inquire your name, miss?"

I answered in a daze-like state, "My name is Victoria."I looked at him in, and I was captivated by how handsome he was. I was even more transfixed when he told me his name. We continued to stare at the other, and it felt like days. Somehow I snapped out of my trance just to become confused, "Why did you bring me here?"

He answered in the calmest voice ever. To be honest his voice was a bit startling, "Because you will become my bride, if you're willing to dedicate yourself to me."

I stayed silent for a little, I was so shocked that I didn't process his words right away. But when I did, I gasped having finally understood what he was saying. But for some unknown reason I wasn't afraid, and I wanted to get to know him. When I finally answered he looked like he saw a ghost, "I will only marry you if we both fall in love with each other."

He stared at me with a mischievous smirk, "Is that a declaration of war? If it is, you should be prepared for the possible future."

I was too excited to speak. I could only grin, and for some reason he looked dazzled. When he finally opened his mouth to speak all I had to do was put my hand up for him to remain silent.
I spoke quietly, "This is a declaration of war from me to you. If we are not able to love one another, I will not marry you."

He nodded and moved his hand towards me, "Agreed."

I grinned and shook his hand, "Good."

---One week later

I woke up to the same man I met a week ago. All I seemed to be able to do was smile at his sleeping face. Although, he appeared to sense my eyes on him, so he slowly opened his deep ruby eyes. His pitch black hair was messed up, but he looked hot that way. "Good morning." I chirped as I noticed him rub his eye before he sat up.

"Morning," he mumbled groggily. "What time is it?"

I replied, "I don't really know. Although, I do know you look bit more handsome when you're asleep when compared to when you are awake."

He tilted his head and grinned a bit, "Oh, really?" I nodded. Then he grinned even wider, and  pulled me into his arms. He held me in a strong embrace before he kissed me on the forehead. I was speechless and flustered, so I could only touch my forehead while blushing. He chuckled softly and whispered gently into my ear, "I hope you will love me, for  I've loved you for quite some time now.."
I could only think, I already do. I couldn't believe I wasn't able to admit my love to Eliodoro. I felt so sad I felt like I was going to cry. He looked at me confused, and he asked, "What's wrong? Why are you crying?"
All I could do was speak the truth, "I already love you so much, and when I couldn't admit it I just became so sad I couldn't help but cry."
He smiled at me kindly and asked, "You really love me? Why couldn't you tell me this?"
I just looked down and told him, "Eliodoro, do you realize how embarrassing it is to confess to the person you love? Remember our declaration of war when I first woke up with you next to me, or should I say when I woke up next to you?"
He started to realize what I was saying, "Yeah, I remember. Why do you ask?"
I simply said, "Because that's when I started liking you. I thought you were the kindest person I ever met, Eliodoro. That's why I fell in love with you."
He smirked, but then he chuckled. Without a warning he gave me my very first real kiss. It was more passionate than I would have ever imagined it would have been. My biggest fantasy coming alive before my very own eyes. All I could do was return his passionate kiss.
